Horta Airport

Nice, cozy terminal with a long balcony to watch your loved ones set foot on Faial or depart with a gorgeous view of Pico island on your lefthand side and a 180 degree, unobstructed view of the vast North Atlantic in front.

Small airport, we got our bags quickly and were able to leave the airport in no time.

Tiny local airport. You can buy coffee and snacks but nothing more :))

Very nice bar upstairs (run by Peter’s Bar) with a roof terrace with a view of the runway, the sea and Pico island. We were here for hours because our flight was delayed but I really liked it.

New building, all facilities available.

Every thing is clear and clean. No problems to travel during Covid19

Landed a P3 Orion here for R&R. Gale force winds made for an unanticipated 3 day stay. What a great adventure!

Remodelado em Agosto de 2001, é o aeroporto mais importante das chamadas Ilhas do Triângulo (São Jorge, Pico e Faial). Não só garante as ligações directas com Lisboa, mas também com as restantes ilhas do arquipélago.
