A lovely restaurant with great food. The owner was incredibly kind and gave us some great advice over what wine to go with our food. I'd definitely go back if we were nearby some time in the future.

Super restaurant and bar. The owners were so kind and flexible and the food outstanding. Strongly recommend the sirloin steak! Good wine selection and they even opened the cafe early for us so we could get a coffee and croissant before we left the town. 5 star.

A very charming and kind couple operate this recently established restaurant. We appreciated their thoughtful recommemdations and help in understanding local cuisine and wines. We had veal and a pastry stuffed with cod and vegetables. Both excellent and big portions. Highly recommend this place.

Last minute decision to go for lunch. Excellent service. Food was fantastic. More of a casual fine dining, but the portions are plenty!

I spent the night here and had dinner and breakfast, and could not be happier with my choice! The owners are incredibly kind and speak perfect English. The food is lovely, the rooms are great and mostly the service just made me feel so welcomed and at home. Also, they gave great tips on hiking paths, which are very close by since the location of the hotel is so good! I would recommend this place to anyone and would surely choose to stay here again whenever I'm around. Thank you so much for everything ❤

Went to lunch since we were travelling to visit Lindoso's dam. It was on the way, well reviewed in maps.
Did not disappoint.
Food was great, specially the deserts.
The owners are very friendly, with good local tips.
The castle is right next to the restaurant which makes a good walk to help digesting the food.

The entree's are clearly home made and delicious.
Also have I mentioned the deserts? 😁

We went to the place just for coffee (which was good), but could not resist trying a couple of cakes (chocolate and orange ones). Both were so good we got some more to take away. If you are in Lindoso, don’t miss this place.

ILove coming to this extremely nice restaurant run by very hospitable people.one can have a beer or a drink at the bar or a meal in the restaurant. In summer it's great to sit in the beautiful garden.

Casa do Destro, situada em Lindoso, junto ao Castelo. Com um ambiente familiar, entre paredes de granito, somos acolhidos pelo calor das palavras e das histórias do lugar, a lareira acomoda as crianças e dá temperatura ao vinho. A carne excelente, a "Posta à Destro", uma maravilha, guarnida com legumes, cozidos no "ponto" e as sobremesas divinas. Bem haja aos que herdam e partilham um serviço de excelência.

Excellent repas, plats goûteux et copieux
Un 👏 pour la posta de cachena (viande locale ultra tendre), le bacalhau o destro est pas mal aussi. Le service est assuré par le patron qui est très sympathique. Belle salle de restaurant meublée avec goût.

Numa descoberta ao castelo do Lindoso eu e meu marido acabamos por descobrir também este excelente restaurante. Comida deliciosa, atendimento afável e acolhedor bom vinho branco da casa e sobremesas caseiras. Adoramos e contamos voltar.
