Algarve Race Resort

Thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Algarve Race Resort. Room was well equipped with a spacious kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine and balcony. Also the Wellness center on site was an amazing addition and was beautifully set up. Only drawback was the location being 20mins out of Portimao but this shouldn’t be an issue if you have a car or are just here for the races.

We stayed in the Algarve race resort for the moto GP.. location was perfect for the race as we could walk to the track every day. You would have to drive to go to the nearest village/town. The Room was fabulous we were lucky to book a suite and service was brilliant. Staff were so lovely .. we had the lovely Rui check us in and he couldn't do enough for us. The bar staff were so friendly and the food was amazing!! Highly recommend

Beautiful and peaceful place to stay in the middle of the mountains and next to the circuit!

Brilliant hotel. Very clean and friendly. Food was on the expensive side but wouldn't put us off staying here again. Had to leave before we could have breakfast so the manager put together breakfast bags for us to take to the airport. Would recommend parking in the built car park to stop your car being too hot in the sun. Have to time it right to get a parasol at the pool because there were only a couple but everyone was very polite and willing to share. Kids were round the pool most of the day but wasn't a loud family resort. Very out of the way so a hire car would be an advantage

The hotel had great facilities and it was very clean.Staff were very nice friendly and helpful. Our apartment was very spacious and the beds were very comfortable and one had an ensuite. The kitchenette had adequate crockery etc. For the beaches or towns you need a car or a taxi but the beautiful scenery is definitely worth staying there along with the hotel spa which has good facilities and a lovely atmosphere

Perfect! The circuit it’s really close and the restaurant there it’s fantastic. Good quality of food. 100% recommended.

It's located away from the other towns in the Algarve. The beautiful resort makes up for the remote location. Very interesting displays and artifacts of the Algarve Races.

The stay was amazing, way beyond what we expected. The service was incredible and we were treated with professionalism. For our New Year's visit, we were given a free of charge delivery to the room with champagne and other treats. In the restaurant, where food was incredibly delicious, the server - Luis - made sure that our experience was unforgettable. Definitely recommending this hotel, especially in the suite room, where you get to relax to the fullest extent.

The apartment was good, pools are very nice, indoor pool was also nice due to the weather.
You need to take some utensils to prepare the meals, it's only available table cutlery.
AC was working.

It is a very quite place to rest and spend some days.

Lovely place to stay if you're attending an event at the circuit. It's too far to walk to the circuit so you'll still need a hire car or bicycle/scooter. Food was good but the dinner buffet is expensive for what it is.

A great resort, good food, clean, quiet, relaxing and good service.

A awesome hotel with top notch facilities located near the race track. Awesome for a dip in the pool between stints during a 24hr race. Food is ok and staff are top notch.

An amazing place to stay. The staff were really helpful and friendly. There are so many things to do at the hotel, indoor swimming, outdoor swimming, steam room, sauna, bar and a games room with a ping pong table and air hockey, with a few other bits. Breakfast has a superb buffet, enough to keep you going for the whole day. There is a choice to have an evening buffet at 26 Euros per person. I didn't opt for it as Lagos was just down the road with places to eat. I also got 5 free laps around the go kart track, but it is for 1 person per room so you would need to pay for anyone else to have a go at the same time. The price was approx. 18 Euro for 5 mins which is approx. 5 laps. On our stay someone charged food and drink to our room, but the staff sorted it. Amazing! Would definitely stay again.

Been there 4 times and surely will come back in a near future! An amazing hotel for people who are into motorized sports like myself duo to it's closeness to the track and you even wake up to the sound of engines. The staff is nice and welcoming and the rooms are excellent.

Food and drinks at the bar are fairly expensive but I wouldn’t expect anything less.

Fab, spacious apartments with extras like an oven and freezer plus daily maid service! Great facilities, two outdoor pools, one indoor pool, two gyms, jacuzzi, sauna, Scottish shower and steam room. Love to return soon.

Smart hotel located next to the Algarve International Race track with very good facilities.

The rooms are well presented, modern and clean, with staff that are welcoming and helpful.

There is a bar and restaurant, spa, outside and inside pools, and a lot of parking.

Myself and a friend stayed at the Pestana Algarve Race as we were taking part in a trackday at the Portimao Circuit. The hotel is right next to the circuit which is great at the end of a long day. The whole hotel complex is spaciously laid out with plenty of parking. The hotel and the rooms were excellent and the staff were very friendly and professional. I will definitely be staying again when next at the circuit.
