Quinta do Tedo

We only came for the wine tasting and it was amazing! Friendly and informative guide, tasty wine and beautiful winery! We learned a lot about the process of making port wine and the history of the winery. A must visit winery in the valley!

Had so much fun learning about Port wine, awesome tasting experience. The facility was beautiful, the staff was knowledgeable, the wine!! Great time with friends and wine.

We didn't stay at the hotel but came for a wine tasting + tour - it was so great! The tasting included 3 port tastings, which were excellent (and I don't usually like ports). The tour with Andrea was great, she's very knowledgeable and also funny :) The view is also breathtaking. Highly recommend visiting.

We were giving a nice room with a beautiful view, for a very fair price. When booking our free wine tasting tour of the place, we were given multiple free glasses of wine. We ordered a cheese board that they did not charge us for it either.
Our tour/tasting guide was Patricia. She was the sweetest lady and probably the best part of the experience.
Free breakfast with a breathtaking view included with the room as well.

We loved staying here in the Vintage apartment. It has a comfortable bed in the upstairs sleeping loft. The room was spacious, clean, and had incredible views. The breakfast was amazing. We spent time by the pool, hiked and enjoyed a tour and tasting. Lovely place and I wish we could have stayed longer.

What a lovely place! Gorgeous setting and beautiful facilities. We hiked around the vineyards and it was so amazing. Nice spacious room with awesome bedding - best pillows! Breakfast was very nice, and the staff was so helpful and kind. Lovely valentines gifts for us too - so thoughtful!

Wow awesome experience. The staff is so nice and helpful. The tour guide very knowledgeable. The place beautiful. The Portos are very good. The kids got to do a chocolate tasting. They loved it. Thank you so much.

When I travel I eat and drink. It’s what I do. Top tier. The port is one thing that blows me away but the service you get here reminds me of just how hospitable, kind and open the Portuguese are. You get more than what you pay for here.

We took a glass of wine and it was delicious and the view was spectacular! Definitely I recommend this place!

A very enjoyable stay here, chosen for location being well positioned for visits. Great welcome, great room, good pool, lovely well maintained terrace...excellent dinner, perfect breakfast...in an environment where quest comforts are not overlooked. Thank you !

We went to 5 vineyards during our vacation 3/19/22, and for me this is the best! Love our room has an extra comfy bed on the attic, beautiful view of the river on both sides of the property, very friendly and accommodating staff/server, delicious food, hiking trails. It was cold when we went so we didn’t use their swimming pool and they also provide canoe/bike/kayak if you want to explore. We will definitely come back!

Visited last year. Shipped some portwines home. Awesome service. Just re-ordered again. Can’t wait!

Good port wine - enjoyed a paid tour and tasting. View is great

We toured the Quinta do Tedo grounds and port making spaces and tasted several of their offerings. Sitting above the Tedo River, the winery is beautiful! The staff is so friendly and very knowledgeable. The tour is relaxed with a small group and provides an amazing amount of information on various types of Port they produce. We tried the ruby, tawny and LBV (Late Bottle Vintage). The LBV 2016 was incredible! If you want to see what a real Port vineyard is like and want to try fantastic wine in a beautiful setting with a great staff, visit Quinta do Tedo

Kay and Vincent, accompanied by their able staff Angelo and Taigo, entertained and educated our group of eight in the traditions of wine making in their charming Quinta do Tedo. This included a walk through the vineyards, a tour of the wine making and storage facilities, a respite with a spectacular gourmet buffet prepared by the their talented cook and servers and finished with a hands-on class in wine tasting and blending your very own bottle of port! A not to be missed visit in the Douro Vally.

My wife and I spent two nights at Quinta do Tedo and it was fantastic. We had spent the previous 2 weeks in Lisbon and it was great to spend a few days such a beautiful, quiet spot. Everybody we met was very friendly and helpful - always looking for ways to make our stay special. One thing that made this Quinta special were the walking trails along the Tedo river and through the vineyards. We're looking forward to returning in the fall.
