What a great restaurant! The menu reflects local favorites and the servings are very generous. Both meat and fish are offered including a nice selection of fresh fish on display and a live tank full of lobster and crabs. There are several dining rooms, all tastefully decorated and abundant parking.

This is a super traditional Portuguese food restaurant and it shows. The staff is of course super friendly and helpful, the food is DELICIOUS, but it looks a little dated. It's part of the charm. I really recommend trying this place.

Great "goatling" and rump steak. Had a very nice cake as well. Guessing it's apricot, coconut and marmalade cake.

Whether you are looking for a quick meal or a really refined gastronomic experience, "Chuva" has been the reference in Barcelos for the last 30 years. The "medalhões de porco" is highly advisable.

Doses muito bem servidas e relação qualidade/preço excelente. Muitas opções, por isso o difícil é escolher. Optei pelos bifinhos de vitela com cogumelos e estava maravilhoso. Ao lado da minha mesa havia outros pratos igualmente apetecíveis por isso voltarei com certeza.
O staff é muito prestável e mesmo com casa cheia, servem relativamente rápido.

Bom restaurante tradicional português. Comida muito bem servida e saborosa. Preços justos e adequados. Pedimos cozido e vitela em tranches com cogumelos.

Que bela descoberta em Barcelos. Um restaurante com requinte, bem decorado com uma garrafeira estupenda e uma posta que é uma autêntica maravilha, super tenra. Tem também uma boa seleção de peixe, mal e entramos no restaurante temos a possibilidade de observar na montra. Várias salas por isso o serviço flui muito bem, mesmo com casa cheia.

Já não me lembrava de ter ido lá... mas foi uma surpresa muito positiva, tanto ao nível da qualidade da comida como do espaço renovado e muito acolhedor. Única cosa que não me surpreendeu foi o serviço de mesa: este foi tão maravilhoso como dantes 👏👏👏

Lieblingsrestaurant von meinem Opa 👴🏼 ein muss ist die „Posta Mirandesa“ ist eines der geschmackvollsten Stücke Fleisch, die ich jemals gegessen habe. Es ist ein großes Stück Kalbsfleisch, von einem Kalb, das sein Leben in der Provinz Trás-os-Montes, im Norden Portugals, verbracht hat. Die Kälber essen natürlich nur natürliches Futter und laufen frei in den Bergen rum…. die Preise sind unschlagbar… ❤‍🔥❤‍🔥❤‍🔥❤‍🔥🤩🤩🤩👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
