Restaurante da Adraga

One of my favorite restaurants on my trip to Portugal. Everything we tried was delicious. Bread, Wine, Sea Bass, Shrimp & Clams, veggies and more. The service was excellent. Lovely family owned place.

This was my husband and I’s favorite place we ate on our Portugal trip. The food was so incredible and the service was top notch. The stuffed crab was the favorite dish we order but both of our desserts were suburb. We would love to be able to come here all the time and could not recommend it more.

We had one of the most excellent meals we had on our holiday here. Fresh fish, crab, shrimp and octopus fresh from the ocean. it was absolutely perfect. Special thanks to Leonel for his great help and great experience!

Really really good restaurant on the beach. Had a big meal with an excellent bottle of Quinta de La Rosa white from Douro valley. Excellent fish soup, crab was fresh and good. Red mullet was grilled very well and tasty, it came with good salad. Cuttlefish with ink is a good but the charred bits are a bit annoying. Great host and servers.

Sintra has more to offer than breath taking views, and beautiful palaces full of history. Make a little detour and head to Praia da Adraga and dine in this beautiful restaurant located on the beach. The seafood and the service, not to mention the rest of the menu are as amazing as the view. Don’t forget to eat dessert!

My highlights were the crab and mussels!

If you have the chance of going with friends, make sure you share the plates to taste as many things as you can.

A bit expansive but you pay for the quality and excellent service which is well worth it.

If you walk a bit on the beach you can find a grotto to explore on the left.

I had a fish soup when I had a lunch break while swimming. It was tasty. The waiters were friendly and fast. I paid only 5 euro.

Some of the best fresh fish and seafood I’ve tried. Great service by the waiters. Definitely worth a visit. Looking forward to going back.

Amazing grilled cod, probably the best in Portugal so far. Would love to give the cheesecakes a try next time! Overall everything was fresh and tasty

Flavorful and yummy food here (especially the shrimp/prawn samosas) with a nice view of the beach. They were very accommodating despite that fact that I had not made a reservation.

Fourth-generation-run seafood restaurant by a wild beach in Sintra. Recommended by a Portuguese local. Try the fish soup, garlic and coriander clams, and the grilled cod (a national, but imported, dish) if you have room. Try the wine from Corales, which is the oldest European wine due to the vine’s deep roots and resistance to the pest infestation that forced most of Europe to implant American vines.

Beautiful restaurant in front of a small beach in the Sintra area - I ordered the grilled cuttlefish and it was very tasty. The prices are a bit high but for the location and view, as well as the quality fish, it’s worth it. The vinho verde by the glass is also very nice.

I’ve been to this restaurant more than 7 times. I always come back for fish soup. The seafood is top notch. This is a great getaway restaurant. The beach is just a step away so you can enjoy the ocean and step in for an amazing meal. Octopus, shrimp, prawns, cuttlefish and so much more. Definite recommendation. Book in advance!

Amazing view and reasonable prices. From Boston and this was possibly the best fresh fish I’ve ever had. Don’t be scared of ordering the fish! And save room for the pavlova in the end. Desserts are clearly homemade.
