I came to “4Patas” through an emergency.
One of our beloved dogs had collapsed and our veterinary practice did not respond on their emergency number for a very long time.

“4Patas” reacted immediately after contacting and provided very professional first aid. Even though we haven't been a customer at the practice yet our dog was helped immediately and very sensitively. Be it x-rays, blood work, local care and professional expertise, nothing was missing. Not least thanks to the interaction of technology, know-how and empathy, a heart defect could be diagnosed and everybody acted upon accordingly. The team did a great job and even I, as the owner, felt warmly welcomed and cared for in this stressful situation. We have been to many veterinary practices over the years, in many cities and …countries but I am completely convinced of this veterinary practice and the team.

In addition to the professional and loving care over a few days on site, I particularly liked the accommodation and care of our beloved dog in the centre of the practice. We always had a good feeling. The animal is always monitored under the supervision of the entire team, in a specially set up room that is always visually visible - and right in the middle of the action. The family was allowed to come at any time without having to interrupt the practice. Everything is very dynamic, species-appropriate and dignified. The values ​​can be read on a monitor and discussed together. We were involved in the process at all times and were provided with informational support. Every measure is discussed together. The costs are also kept in mind. In addition, the team is extremely accommodating and super friendly. All these efforts and holistic management, especially on a small island where everything is more difficult than in big cities, means the highest level of recognition. In conclusion, one can say that “4Patas” and its employees have internalized a common philosophy and live holistically. Very mindful.
This is good for the animal and,..! also good for people.

Dr. Silva came in on a holiday to help our senior dog with a medical emergency. She was WONDERFUL. She spent an our of her day off helping...was extremely thorough and caring. And excellent English. Thank you thank you thank you.

Estou extremamente satisfeito com a sua capacidade de resposta extraordinariamente rápida e elevado nível de serviço ao cliente.

Só tenho coisas boas a dizer sobre Quatro Patas na Madalena, Ilha do Pico. Eles foram incrivelmente gentis, profissionais e realmente nos fizeram sentir confortáveis. Eles falavam a língua nativa (inglês), o que também ajudou muito. Lá também preparamos nosso Schnauzer Miniatura e eles fizeram um trabalho fantástico. Altamente recomendado! Estamos muito felizes que eles nos tenham sido recomendados por alguns de nossos amigos locais.

I have nothing but good things to say about Quatro Patas in Madalena, Pico Island. They were so incredibly kind, professional and really made us feel comfortable. They spoke out native language (English) which also really helped. We also had our Miniature Schnauzer groomed there and they did a fantastic job. Highly recommend! We are so happy they were recommended to us by some of our local friends.
