Lovely little science museum. The staff are extremely helpful and patient. They speak great English. My 3 year old son enjoyed his visit and we spent almost 90 minutes there but children slightly older might get a little more out of it. He loved holding the star fish. ⭐.

There are little toilets in both men and women's bathrooms. There are lots of paid parking places nearby, but may be hard to find a place in August as there are so many people visiting.

Very cute and nice museum in Faro where you can learn which animals are in the Atlantic sea nearby. The best thing is you can pet starfish and sea cucumber 😍

Such lovely staff, brilliant informative and interactive displays!

Great value and a great way to learn about the local ecology. You can tell the staff really care. We were especially surprised how much was in English (we had our translate at the ready but didn't need it much) and how much the staff made an effort to speak English and even helped us correct our Portuguese (which definitely needs work!).

Great mix of displays and even a touch pool where we got to hold a starfish and sea cucumber, well worth the money for both adult and child alike!!

Kid-friendly, fun, exciting visit for our kid! It was SUPER educational, had local wildlife, interactive exhibits with a touch tank!

I love visiting science museums like this with staff that are knowledgeable and super nice! They also print their own keychains for the gift shop and sell recycled bottle cap planters as well!

My kid had a blast and so did us adults! I love that the touch tank contained local wildlife to teach not only about the animals, but also the environment.

10/10 would recommend if you have kids or just want to enjoy a cool science museum to explore and play for a few hours!

Nice science museum to go to with kids. Small sea life aquarium where you can also hold some of the creatures was cool. Small in size so will take about 1-1,5 hours.

Great visit today with two children ages 4&7. Small centre but lots to see and do, we spent a couple of hours here, well worth the relatively low entrance fee. Very friendly staff and easy to park nearby. They don't have a card machine for foreign cards (from the UK) so tickets need to be paid for in cash or online.

Amazing time! Very affordable with super knowledgeable and kind staff. As an English speaker, they were still super kind and fluent to all my questions about the wildlife of the Lagoon. Highly recommend stopping in for 30m visit or so (at minimum)

Small but cute. Lots to do but I felt it was more for kids. Still worth exploring and cheap to visit too. Paid €8 for two adults.

Nice little place to go with children, cheap to enter and everything is in English and Portuguese.

The staff are really helpful and keen to explain the projects to youngsters.

Slightly smaller than I thought but still worthy of a visit.

A small fun and great museum with great people. Special thanks to Raji, an excellent knowledge about the maritime life and their species. She was so wonderful and cheerful with the kids, we need people like her to show the next generation that even the smallest species on earth is needed. The woman on the ticket counter gaved such a great welcome that we back again. Thank you so much.
