Quinta Do Pincho

Had the unique experience of a bbq at the blueberry farm. The owners were quite friendly, serving plenty of wine, had a huge selection of salads, burgers, bbq, chicken and more. A fund raiser for a local church.

Fabulous fun and the best part was eating as many blueberries as we could as we picked our way to almost 2.4 kilos in our buckets! Such a great experience and nothing tastes better than freshly picked blueberries!

We made blueberry lemon cake, blueberry coffee cake, ate them by the handful, froze a bunch and enjoyed them in our fruit smoothies! Also shared our bounty with neighbors and friends!

Lovely place in the Bensafrim countryside surrounded by nature

Delicious berries, now we must wait for next year!!!

We visited Quinta Do Pincho yesterday and were very impressed with the organisation and the explanation given by the owner Callum.
We bought some blueberries and some blueberry honey.
They are delicious.
