A little gem of history with a back garden with fig and lemon trees, nice little pool, lounge areas and views of both the castle behind and the valley in front. Great hospitable owners and staff and delicious, homemade food. Perfect for a relaxing vacation with lots of activities in the area

Amazing guest house furnished in historical fashion adjacent to the castle. Impeccably clean, super friendly staff, wonderful views and garden with a pool. Bike touring friendly. Highly recommend!

My experience at Casa de Santiago was simply perfect, even better than what I expected. The House is an ancient family manor with many of the original forniture and interiors, is amazing.
The outdoor area and the garden is just beautiful, with many trees and plants and flowers. The best thing is to enjoy the garden and the amazing pool!
Altough the very best thing of Casa de Santiago is the welcome of Joanna and Artur, the two guys who manage the house. They are the most kind and warm hosts, they’ll make you feel part of the family!
But the icing on the cake is the amazing breakfast they make, with fresh fruit from the garden and the most delicious yogurt i ever had! They make it themselvs! Yogurt home made!! Just amazing!

Magnificent

Hemos estado ahí dos noches y han sido maravillosas. Las habitaciones, la piscina, en encanto de la casa y sus jardines…maravilloso. Lo mejor la amabilidad de María, Duarte y toda la familia. En lugar de huéspedes parecíamos sus invitados. Estamos deseando volver!

Grande cortesia in palazzo di fascino del '700 vicino al castello, con giardino immerso nel silenzio. Grande beakfast con prodotti di casa.

Très bel endroit ! Avons passé en mai une nuit dans cette jolie ancienne propriété familiale, située au sommet de la petite ville de Cacém et restaurée avec grand soin. Accueil très chaleureux par Francisco qui nous a guidé dans le magnifique jardin et l’histoire de la maison. Comfort moderne (chambre spacieuse, bonne literie) en gardant le charme historique. Petit déjeuner 5 étoiles+ ! Excellents produits régionaux et fait maison : on s’est régalés… Si de passage dans la région, nous reviendrons !

Toller Ort zum Entspannen. Schöne Altstadt. Service sehr freundlich. Schöner vielfältiger Garten. Origenelle Einrichtung, fast wie ein Museum...

Histórico. Lindíssimo. Muito confortável, muito agradável, esmeradissimo. Primoroso! Acolhimento muito eficiente, requintado e caloroso. 🌸🌺
