Beautiful church in centre of town, stunning carved stone entrance and pillars. Small religious artifacts museum with external entrance can be found to rear of church - limited opening times to museum.

Die kleine Kirche in Monchique sollte man sich schon mal anschauen, wenn man in dem Ort ist.

Zum 10. Mal an der Algarve und nun zum 8. Mal haben diese schöne kath. Kirche in dem Bergstädtchen Monchique besucht. Außen, na ja, aber innen gesegnet mit einem wunderbaren Hauptaltar und schönen Seitenaltären. Alleine dafür lohnt sich schon der Besuch. Wir besuchen sehr gerne Kirchen, doch leider sind viele hier an der Algarve geschlossen. Diese war bisher immer geöffnet, wenn wir hier waren. Unser Tipp: Unbedingt ansehen!😃

Jedes Mal wenn wir in Monchique sind, besuchen wir diese schöne Kirche. Sie war bisher immer offen, was leider bei vielen Kirchen in Portugal nicht der Fall ist. Miit schönen Ornamenten verziertes Eingangsportal. Wunderschöner, goldglänzender Altar. Von außen, wie fast alle Kirchen hier, nicht attraktiv.

Lindo local de culto. A porta envolvida pelas amarras marítimas destacam se das demais igrejas em Portugal. Por mim conhecidas.
