Had a nice 2 night stay, room very comfy, great dinner, staff at service absolutely friendly ( thanks again for the hot lemons for my sick daughter😉), gentleman at the reception gave us really good info's.

Loved it here, spa sauna pool, great breakfasts great staff, UK tv, powerfull shower, coffee and tea making facilities in the room. Bring your swimming cap or €4 charge :-)

If you want to have a holiday of just pure relaxation and serenity, The Prime Energize at Monte Gordo is the perfect spot for you!

Our room was perfect and spacious with a great sea view and plants. This hotel also offers a range of activities to book such as horse riding (which was so fun, I definitely recommend), stand up paddle, boat trips etc, as well as plenty of spa treatments. The restaurant was also fantastic! This holiday was booked as a birthday trip, after my spa treatment (which was AMAZING), we arrived back to my room with a cake and wine inside! The receptionists were SUPER HELPFUL and extremely kind, thank you guys! (Martha, Maria (both) and the lovely guy that came into our room when we couldn’t work the TV ahaha). The beach is less than 10 minutes away and has a range of restaurants with a gorgeous view of the sea and town is only 5 minutes away with more restaurants, ice cream parlours and tourist shops.

Only downside was that the TV only connects to android phones which none of us had, so unfortunately we didn’t watch TV but that’s okay!

Really good stay- the best? Staff for sure!!Very clean facilities! got a big room with - more than enough space for 2. Huge balcony (twice the size of the photo). Restaurant has really good food and breakfast was also nice (orange juice from oranges ☺ not from concentrate syrup!!! 🙄🙄) - must say that the free coffee machine could be updated and get a better quality selection of coffee - this was the least i enjoyed but that’s a small detail!!! indoor swimming pool - water was hotter than others I’ve visited - overall: very good!!

Stayed here for 5 nights. Fabulous hotel, with great staff. Breakfast so so good. Close to beach, mile from train station. Bed was very comfy, shower amazing. We were on ground floor with a terrace. Breakfast was buffet style with a fabulous selection of items. Fresh orange juice machine, hot food, cereals, fruit, coffee machine, if needing decaf just ask staff, mushrooms and tomato's were lovely. We are Vege and there was plenty for us. I would really recommend this great hotel in Monte Gordo. The beach is fabulous, probably about six miles long. Love the local fisherman's boats on the beach as they have no harbour. Tractor helps launch the boats. It is a tourist town but think the winter season is quiet. Weather for us was fab. Some cloudy days and some sunny, max temp around 19/20, low 16/17. Much to do and see in area. Would recommend and will return. Cheers 😁😁

Good hotel. Loved the food, accomodation, people, and everything we did was excellent. We would not hesitate to stay again. Just a couple of niggles could be worth attention by management. The bathroom floor always wetted because of the design of shower, the mastic was in need of replacement, etc. The perfect initial view was spoiled with detailed inspection, when water was where you don't expect it. But that didn't spoil our overall comfort and satsfaction.

Where do I begin with this hotel. I came here for New Year 2022/ 2023 with my girlfriend. And we are in agreement it is one of the best hotels we have stayed in. It was from the very start when we walked in, the staff were superbly welcoming and polite, the spa and pool are petite but perfect for what we wanted. There is car parking included and our room (which was a very good standard) looked out towards the beach and sea. Breakfast is included and contains a fine selection to suit everyone. We never made the yoga but definitely will come back and I have recommended this place to several friends when they come to this area. 5 minutes walk to the beach and 10 minute drive to Spain 👌🏼🫶🏼 we love you Prime Energize!

I'm giving it 5 stars for the breakfast which was exceptional. It's a very new and modern hotel. Staff are very good. Let down by whoever designed the building - no sound proofing so other rooms and barking dogs might keep you awake. Bathroom very small with shower that floods the floor and door stop in prime position to stub your toe, ouch! Good though if you can get a good price.

Excellent hotel and facilities. We had room 505, which was great and very spacious with a large Seaview balcony and terrace. Location fantastic as 5mins walk to lovely sandy beaches and restaurants. Shops nearby and in walking distance.

Luckily, we stayed here, which made up a very disappointing Portugal Soul Weekender event, which we will not be going again aa the people attending are very rude and uncouth . Lots of people complained due to their accommodation being sub standard which the organisers provided and artists not appearing even though the organisers knew 10 days prior!

For a quality relaxing stay , The Prime Energize is a great hotel.

Staying in this beautiful hotel for the past week,it is just perfect.
Staff are so friendly ,from the lovely staff working in the restaurant at breakfast,the house keeping staff,the friendly lady in the spa and the reception staff...so welcoming and friendly.
Hotel us spotlessly clean,our room(409) was cleaned daily with clean towels and bedding as requested. Our room is very spacious with a lovely balcony.

Excellent stay, very friendly staff, very clean room, breakfast had limited options but was still tasty. Special thank you to the receptionist who checked us in (I think her name was Maria) she was especially helpful and made us feel very comfortable and welcome. Would recommend this hotel to everyone and will be returning.

Great hotel, really nice staff and nice food options. Literally the only downside for me is that as a single person you can't have breakfast in the outside / conservatory area because they prioritise these seats for groups, so you have to sit inside without the nice daylight feel.

We spent 7 nights at the hotel a wonderful experience, I highly recommend it .
The staff was so kind and friendly ,service was brilliant (everyone deserves a raise😀)

Very nice Hotel. Me and my partner both enjoyed our stay. Really good Spa which was included in our stay when we visited. Small but modern Gym with new equipment. Hotel offered a fitness class each day which ranged from running to yoga and was free for guests. Very good options for breakfast to suit most diets. The fresh orange juice is a must. Staff were fantastic and went out of their way to help. Rooftop Pool with great views also has a bar.

Tatianna on reception was so lovely and helpful, the hotel is amazing, especially the rooftop bar and pool, the food is also fantastic!!!I would highly recommend

Nice big and absolutely new rooms. Excellent breakfast.
Only one thing: the google address pin is not at right place, so we had to drive around the neighborhood for 15 min looking for the hotel

We had a fantastic time!
Our Juniorsuite was amazing, two balconies and really great. There is nothing to complain about the house keeping, everything was fine.
Staff was friendly always and took a lot of time to answer all our questions.
Breakfast was ok, good choice out of bread, cheese, fresh fruits, eggs, warm things.I dont know why, actually nothing important was missing and quality was ok also but i ve already seen better breakfasts at hotels with less stars.
As we were pick up at 3:20 am we were also asked if we are interested in a lunch box which was really nice.
The poolarea on the rooftop is small and swiming there is a bit difficult as there pool isnt really deep. But i think it isnt that important as the beautiful beach is nearby. I really liked the view from the poolarea und having a sunbath there is also great!
Sunday morging we have participated in a Yoga course. The yoga teacher was amazing and it was so relaxing in such a beautiful atmosphare.

I would like to thank housekeeping, reception & breakfast staff and our yoga teacher for making our stay there so wonderful.

Incredible hotel - Very friendly and helpful staff, comfortable rooms, sea view balcony and room, roof terrace pool, spa with relaxing massages, good reasonably priced restaurant and cocktails. Fantastic breakfast buffet. Flawless hotel. Also a short walk from a good beach. Would highly recommend and plan to re-visit. Thanks!
