1st time we were there. Absolutely loved It and will definitely be back. Excellent food, lovely atmosphere and 1st class service while still a very reasonable price.

We love the food and the service. Very authentic. After the meal, do try Poncha. You won’t regret.

Having launch here on a hot day was a real delight.
With quite a few delicious homemade vegetarian choices.
The meals are served with a fabulous desolate and flourish. All presented perfectly and accompanied by a delicious salad and home cut chips.
The owners are a lovely polite couple a d the restaurant was clean and beautifully decorated.
Outside there is a shaded terrace with views across the fields.
Plenty of shaded parking also really helps in the summer.
Cellar cold beer on tap, served from frosted glasses from the fridge went down like liquid gold on a hot day.
They also have accommodation available I believe which is very handy for those exploring it looking for properties in the area.
Defiantly worth visiting, I go often and have happily taken many friends.
The restaurant and rest rooms are very clean and fresh.

We stumbled upon this restaurant purely by luck while driving by. Very atmospheric place, very "local" in the best Portuguese sense of the word, rural inn + restaurant.
If you are going to explore the area around (Monsanto, Castelo Branca, Belmonte, etc) don't forget to put this place on your map.
