Al-NovaVista

Al novavista has the best staff you will ever come across. During our trip to pico we struggled to find transportation as we were not old enough for the scooters and did not know how to drive manual cars. The owner of al Novavista took us to the city himself and waited while we grabbed the things we needed, a service above and beyond anything else. Another owner sat down and called each car rental place on the entire island just for us, something she did not have to do. Their staff are the nicest most considerable people around. Their rooms are simple and a great place to sleep and wind down with a great bathroom. 5 stars for the consideration of their staff. Oh and the place has a pool with a great view of the ocean and its neighboring island faial.

Excellent! Stayed here 5 nights, with 1 gap night in between since I was night-climbing Pico. Very good contact through email and very flexible and friendly staff. Good breakfast and awesome sea view from breakfast terrace and pool! Would definitely recommend :)

I stayed at AL-NovaVista for 3 nights, and have only good things to say about it.
The gentleman who was at the front desk to check us in was very friendly and helpful. We were assigned apartment 1, and we're shown to it without delay. Everything in the room was very clean and in good order.
The view to the ocean and the next island (Faial) was beautiful out the front door and the mountain was visible from the back door.
Breakfast was included with the room, and had a variety of options, to include pancakes/waffles, cheese, a small selection of meats, and eggs. Local breads were also available along with juice and yogurt
I would recommend this location to anyone looking for lodging on the island of Pico!

Eu fiquei no AL-NovaVista por 3 noites, e só tenho coisas boas a dizer sobre este alojamento.
O cavalheiro que estava na recepção para verificar nos foi muito simpático e prestativo. Fomos designados ao apartamento 1 sem demora. Tudo no quarto estava muito limpo e em bom estado.
A vista para o mar e para a próxima ilha (Faial) era linda na porta da frente e a montanha era visível da porta dos fundos.
Pequeno-almoço estava incluído com o quarto, e tinha uma variedade de opções, para incluir panquecas / waffles, queijo, uma pequena selecção de carnes e ovos. Pães locais também estavam disponíveis junto com sumo e iogurte
Eu recomendaria esta AL-NovaVista para qualquer pessoa procurando hospedagem na ilha do Pico!

This is my favorite middle class hotel on Pico with views over the vineyards, Horta and Pico mountain. Nice terrase to enjoy a cup of wine while relaxing.

Great place to stay. Perfect location on the Island. Friendly family run business. I'd go back anytime.

Für ein 3 Sterne Hotel finden wir es Top. Wir hatten ein Appartement mit einer kleinen Küche, wo alles da war, wenn man kochen hätte wollen. Bis auf eine Kaffeemaschine. Aber wir hatten Frühstück gebucht und brauchten sie daher nicht.
Das Frühstück war nichts besonderes, aber man ist satt geworden und die Aussicht von der Terrasse ist super.
Zimmer sind sauber und groß.

Ottimo hotel per un breve soggiorno sull'isola di Pico. Le camere sono pulite e ordinate tuttavia, se si capita in quelle che fronteggiano il parcheggio, si può essere disturbati la notte dai fari delle auto.

A reggeliző teraszról csodás kilátás nyílik Horta szigetre. Szép a medence. Tudtuk használni a grillsütőt a vacsora készítéshez. A szoba tiszta volt, minden nap takarították.

Quarto fantástico com uma vista incrivel sobre o Pico. Staff muito simpático e prestável. O pequeno almoço apenas é servido a partir (aproximadamente) das 9h. Os nossos dias começavam sempre bem antes das 8h para aproveitar para conhecer o Pico, pelo que não tivemos possibilidade de aproveitar o pequeno almoço que é servido no espaço de refeições. No entanto, os proprietários foram muito prestáveis e atenciosos e deixaram-nos no nosso quarto pequeno almoço para o dia seguinte. A repetir!

Muito bom! Staff muito simpático e atencioso, pequeno-almoço excelente com vista para a vinha do Pico e ilha do Faial. A piscina era ótima. Recomendo e espero repetir!

Os quartos são grandes, limpos, o pequeno almoço é fabuloso, temos uma vista magnífica sobre a ilha do Faial e a norte para o Pico. O pessoal é muito simpático e prestável
