Beautiful restaurant, the main courses were excellent. We had the octopus (YUM!) and pork ribs. The starters a salad and shrimp were ok, could use more flavor. Our desert, chocolate cake was delicious, MUST GET! Staff were friendly and nice!

My partner and I had an incredible dining experience at this restaurant. We enjoyed two dry martinis, two glasses of wine, one sparkling water, one chestnut and mushroom soup, one spring salad, an octopus dish with potatoes, mousaka, and a cheesecake with pistachio.

The food was fresh and delicious, and the presentation was surprisingly beautiful. The service was exceptional and our waiter was incredibly kind, polite, and spoke both German and English fluently. I must say, the octopus dish was the best I have ever tasted.

We were pleased to have spent a total of 80 euros, including tips, for such a lovely evening.

Excellent dinner. So happy we stumbled into this restaurant. We both had vegetarian entrees which surpassed our expectations especially since we are typically meat eaters.

Quality/Price/Experience is just excellent.

Cozy interiors with delicious and very well thought dishes. We went for fish for the main, which is amazing (strongly recommend the octopus), but it also includes several unique vegetarian options. And of course it offers some good local wines!

Best meal in Portugal so far! We had the octopus and the tuna and they were both amazing. Highly recommend the ‘Romeu and Juliette’ and cheese pillow appetizers. The service was also great and the ambiance was perfect.

Was not expensive at all, the food and ambiance was great. Service was nice, but when it got bussier, food and table cleaning was given attention over other tasks. It was fine with us, as the food came quickly and tasted incredible.

It was around 50 euro's for some bread with butter, two mains, two desserts, two drinks and a coffee and tea.

Will definitelty come back again.

We did come back again. Was again great, with lovely service.

This time we took two starter cornetto's.
In the beetroot cornetto the flavours complemented eachother well, I found the avocado cornetto to be dominated by the avocado taste and all textures were similar, which was not the case for the beetroot. However, both were tasty.

For main I picked the beanstew. It was very flavourfull because of all the spices. I've never tried Seitan before, but I liked it a lot. The additional vegetables were also great and well seasoned.

Finally we also took the chocolate cake. It was a little heavy, but if you are a chocolate lover it is probably what you are looking for.

The red wine was great and they will let you taste prior, which adds some class.

Still amazed that they offer this at such a low price. Will recommend to any- and everyone

Unexpected pleasure after long hike :) Best crème brûlée I’ve ever had!

We came here three times already and the food was always outstanding including great vegetarian options. The staff and owner create a very nice atmosphere. They also gave us some good menu recommendations. Make sure to try the ‘Juliet e Romeo’ starter! It’s so delicious.

We had an exceptional experience at Adega22 and we highly recommend it! For us it’s clearly the best restaurant in Vila Nova de Milfontes.

We were here a couple of years ago as tourists. This is perhaps one of the most memorable restaurants I've ever visited. The reason is that it's rare for me to encounter a new flavour in my travels - but one visit here yielded two new and truly delightful surprises for my palate. Highly recommend. If I make it back, I'll bring an appetite and try everything else they offer.

Amazing dinner from start to finish! Very cozy atmosphere, friendly staff and incredible value for money (15€ for some of the best ribs we’ve ever had!). Would definitely recommend the iberian pork ribs and the parpadelle with wild boar ragú. Our tip: get the ribs with sweet potato purée instead of the regular fries - it was delicious!

Certainly one of the best restaurants in the area. Very good selection of finely flavored dishes and delicious desserts. Very nice and attentive staff. Highly recommended!

This is the only good restaurant we've experienced in Portugal. The food beer, cocktails, and desserts were excellent, the prices were reasonable, and the atmosphere was lovely. If you love pistachios, please do order the pistachio cheesecake.

Honestly, this is the best meal we have had in years! So good and flavourful food. Brilliant price/quality.

Great food. Beautiful ambiance. Very accommodating service. We went with two children ages 3 and 6 and the restaurant staff were wonderful.

Simply amazing! The food, the wine and the atmosphere!

The food was divine! Very good presentation and flavor from beginning to end. We had the shrimps, the beetroot cornucopia and the Romeo and Juleit for starters; ribs, octopus and aubergine for main course; and creme brulee and "Pe na areia" for desert. We also loved the space. Service was a bit slow, but the overall experience was a 5 star. Really recommended!

Great dinner at this restaurant last night - we were a larger group but the manager was very accommodating and kind. I ordered the octopus and it was delicious - will visit again!
