Great beers at a great price (particularly for those brewed in-house). Great variety and very good service, offering recommendations and tastings to find a beer to your liking. Comes with a view of the city on the tables outside.

If you want to drink good beers and/or watch the champions league, this is your place! We really enjoyed our craft beers and tremoços, the good services and the kindness of the owners.

Without doubt the best bar in Coimbra serving craft ale from their own Epicura brand. It has a pub like feel, there are Pizzas and tostas available, and some outside seating. The beers are excellent, with plenty of choice, my favourite being the Black IPA. Recommended.

Craft beer from Epicura brewery plus rotatating guest beers. The black IPA and the APA are both excellent, just over €5 a pint.
There are pizzas and tostadas available which we did not try, but they smell great.Recommended.

Very close to the bridge leading into Coimbra, Epicura has a well-rounded draft list, as well as To-Go beers. My wife and I came here on a mellow Sunday for two beers and loved it. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about their beers.

We didn't order any food as we just finished dinner, but we'll try it the next time we come over. If you're looking to try some local brews, hit this place up!

New place in Coimbra, hosted by Epicura Craft Beer. This taproom has a large selection on owned beers by Epicura, and always some space reserved for some other craft beers from fellow partners. A great place for beer lovers.

Great place to grab a beer. Good selection of beer and friendly bartender. Would recommend as a tourist.

Epicura has all the ingredients for a fantastic craft brewery. They are experimenting with different styles and temper their brews well for balanced flavors. Their Belgian wit, sour, porter and IPA were solid. Recommend getting the tasting flight to see what you like. Everyone has a favorite style. Whatever floats your boat ya know?! There are no brewing laws outside of Germany folks. Let’s keep an open mind.

They also have fantastic pizza. They use the yeast utilized in the brewing process for their dough resulting in a light flavorful base for their pizza. The concept is still being developed but there are great bones for outstanding pizza. A wood fired oven would make that pizza absolutely slap. I recommend pairing their sour with one of their pizzas. Acidity + fat + salt = delicious

Also, if Felipe makes your pizza you know it will be good….he also knows his beer.

First off the best beer in town! IPA’s, black IPA ( so good), sour beers and so on!
I met one of the owners and he was so nice! He went out of his way to tell about his town close to Coimbra to visit. I love that about the Portuguese people.

Great beer. Only had pão com chouriço so I can't comment too much on the food. They also speak English.
