The Beach Break Hotel and Sports Bar

I stayed here with my son, sister and brother in law. Let me just start by saying my experience was amazing from start to finish. Food so good it will have you do a little dance in your seat while eating lol. Owner Carlos and his staff was so polite and responsive to any questions or requests we had. I would recommend to anyone going to El Zonte and I myself will be staying here again next time I'm in El Salvador. The last thing I will bring up is they offer a shuttle ride to the airport for a fee that was a life saver for us in this trip. Thank you Carlos and to all your staff for the hospitality.

The best stay i have had on a vacation, EVER! Moses was the shining star of this hotel and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we need and were enjoying our time. The food at beach break was so good that we wanted to eat every meal here and had to go out of our way not to. The atmosphere is so beautiful and has the best vibes. The rooms are clean, cool, and just all around an exceptional hotel. You have to stay here when traveling to el zonte!

Had a such a great time. The staff was attentive and very accommodating. The food and drinks were delicious and at very reasonable prices!! We’ve tried other restaurants and there’s no comparison. We were fortunate enough to have met the owners who were amazing people and took very good care of us. Made us feel at home. I’m very satisfied with my stay and would definitely go back!

My recent stay at the Beach Break Hotel was nothing short of incredible, exceeding all my expectations. This beachfront oasis provided an amazing experience with its lively atmosphere, fantastic amenities, and attentive staff. The highlight was undoubtedly the upstairs bar, offering great music and engaging games that enhanced the vibrant ambiance, creating the perfect setting to unwind and enjoy the evening. The culinary offerings were outstanding, with delicious meals that surpassed all expectations, whether it was a hearty breakfast or a mouthwatering dinner. The hotel's two well-maintained pools provided a refreshing escape, and the direct access to the ocean through a convenient back path was a definite plus. Despite being a bit further from the nightlife, the serene location and overall experience made it well worth it.

This boutique hotel is everything you need for a comfortable stay in a great location. Staff were friendly and super helpful, food was amazing, and rooms and amenities were super clean. Ubers to nightlife are extremely cheap ($4) and beachfront is perfect for surfing and boogie boarding. If you wanna lay out, you can walk about 5min near the skate park. Most tours do pick up in this area, but you’ll save lots if you just book the car with the hotel and do everything independently. We hiked the waterfalls located about 30min from the hotel, and we had a driver from the hotel take us to cafe Albania adventure park. If you’re lucky enough to meet the amazing owners, you’re in for a great time and lots of local insight. And don’t forget to say hi to Bibi, the friendliest hotel cat.

This hotel was absolutely amazing. The staff was incredibly welcoming, the rooms were nice and clean, surf boards for rent, and it was steps away from the best spots in El Zonte.
The restaurant in the hotel also has the best food in all of el Zonte. We were staying at an Airbnb down the street and visited the restaurant. We loved the food and the whole ambiance of the hotel so much we booked a stay there for an extra week!
We also had the pleasure of meeting the owners who were so nice to us and checked on us the whole time.

As a solo traveler in Zonte to surf, this is exactly what I was looking for. Great value, close to beach, comfortable (great A/C) and extremely friendly staff that was always available to make sure you were having a great stay. Yes, as noted in other reviews, they don't all speak english but using a translator app and broken Spanish I had no issues at all. They also have great food (especially the complimentary breakfast) and the overall vibes here were mellow!

I'd def stay here again and would recommend to anyone who will be traveling through the area.

Came to the bitcoin after party for dinner and a few drinks . The pizza is killer ! We tried half the mixed drink menu and can't go wrong throwing a dart at the menu . Everything was divine.

The Food is great and prices are reasonable compared to other places. Staff really friendly! Great surf town! 🤙

I personally had a great experience at this place. Its $20 i think and it goes towards food. The food to me was good and the portions big enough. Place and bathrooms were clean. 2 pools in good/clean condition, not crowded and they have chairs and hamacas around. The staff very profesional. The manager made us feel home. I lost my phone for good 10 minutes, which was my fault 100%. All the workers were helpful and one was able to find my phone and returned it. My family and I are definitely coming back.

Excellent people and service. Small boutique hotel feel and Carlos is an attentive owner and concierge. He is in constant communication via WhatsApp and goes out of his way to get you anything you need. The rooms are small but clean. The air conditioning works quite well. The food at the restaurant was among the best we had in ES. The one drawback is no hot water, but you’re on a surf vacation in a remote, developing nation, so an easy compromise for everything else the Beach Break offers.

My stay at the Beach Break was very pleasant, the rooms were very clean and the staff was friendly. The food was delicious! I especially enjoyed the fried fish, I ordered it several times during my stay. I will definitely be staying here on my next visit. I recommend this new hotel to anyone traveling to El Zonte.

I traveled with my family, 3 adults and 2 children, and stayed in two rooms at The Beach Break Hotel. We liked everything about the hotel. Staff was very pleasant, respectful, and prompt with the service. Location wise, we were steps away from the beach, and within minutes from bars and music. The garden area was well maintained. We spent the day in the garden area while relaxing, munching on food, enjoying our drinks, and watching the kids play in the pool. We ate at the hotel everyday, and the food was delicious! Everything we ordered to eat was fantastic, especially the seafood soup and the stuffed fish. The beach at El Zonte was nice and warm, and the kids absolutely loved it! When the tide was low, small ocean pools formed, which were perfect for the kids to play in. We went to El Tunco twice during our stay, about a 20min drive. At El Tunco, we had good food, drinks, enjoyed the clubs by the beach, and took the kiddos the second time. The family enjoyed visiting Picnic Restaurant and the Lake Coatepeque, about 1hr drive. Those two areas were further away, but we highly recommend taking the time to visit them. We would like to return to El Zonte, and will definitely stay at The Beach Break Hotel again. I highly recommend The Beach Break Hotel to anyone visiting El Zonte.

The Hotel is very clean and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant served delicious food and the Sports Bar was an added bonus for a sports fan like myself. The beach are beautiful and are a short walking distance with great surf breaks for all levels of surfers. Lot's to do nearby; fishing, hiking, beautiful waterfalls, and nightlife.

The Beach Break Hotel could not be more perfect for our stay in El Salvador. The room was spotless clean, super comfy bed and the property is so spacious and peaceful! 2 pools, a beautiful outlook of the canal with amazing 5 star service with DELICIOUS food and drinks! I loved this place! Very cosy and clean. It has different spots where you can stay drinking front the river, in the bar zone, front the pool or the yard. I would recommend the waiter to be a little bit more kind but it's ok. I will definitely return
