I stayed on the island for a few weeks, and Extra Time exceeded my expectations. For a sports bar, I didn't expect good quality food. However, both the western and Thai food were great. Lots of the local Thai staff from various resorts choose to eat here. Very authentic.

As a solo traveller, I enjoyed many evenings at the bar where the owner was amazingly friendly and included me in many conversations with other customers. Very genuine, friendly, and interested in people. Super nice vibe.

Recommend for both a drink and food.

Nice find for a burger and pasta! Prices were great in comparison to other restaurants around and burger was tasty. Also got the Spaghetti Bolognese, we enjoyed too. Great environment for a drink. Such a fun bar! Played connect 4 at our table and there was a pool table as well. Lots of tvs playing all kinds of things.

Saw a blog which mentioned this place so thought we'd give it a go.
Not your usual sports bar, thank goodness. Absolutely fab food! The coconut soup with chicken was by far one our favourite things we've eaten ever!

The hard work these people put into the function and cleanliness of this place is commendable.
When you’re there you can tell that community is priority. You’re likely to see many of the locals drop in for a beer, a chat and a game of pool!

It’s run by a Genuine couple who do the little things to show appreciation for their guests like random free dessert! Service is always attentive and the food is not to be underestimated. They even have sweet potato fries!
There’s plenty of social opportunities like darts, pool, board games, cards, and even tambourines to join in on live music night.

NO question it’s the best bar on the island! Don’t miss Thursday’s live music night.

We came here after reading the reviews, spent all night here as the atmosphere was great. Me and my partner are here and the food was amazing! First place in Thailand I found with gravy and vinegar 🤯🤩 incredible!! Played darts and pool, the place even shows live sports! And on top of that the staff are one of the friendliest we have come across on our travels in Thailand! We 100% recommend coming to this place! ❤⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Very nice place. The owners are adorable and very good cooks. We had home-made burgers and enjoyed them.
We ended up with the best homemade cheesecake I've ever had.

Fun bar with good food! Hummus was amazing. Burger was juicy and beefy and had that super homemade deliciousness. Massaman curry was huge and stir fry veggies with pepper were nice as well.

Fantastic bar that is frequented by locals and travelers for its great owners, better food and BEST pool table on the island. Richard and Aya are really accommodating and create such a great atmosphere. Also always happy to offer tips on places to explore on this amazing island. I will be back and this will be my first stop!!

Aya and Ritchie are absolutely amazing!! I have gone to this bar nearly every day. And every day has been sensational. The atmosphere is so relaxed and friendly. I can't say enough stuff about the place. I've travelled here on my own and found an instant home here. The food is sooooooo good, you have got to try the signature homemade burger and the chicken and cashew nuts, which are my favs, but there's loads to try. The Thai and Western menus are both humongous. Don't miss this place!! It's awesome!!

Fast, free WiFi and super helpful + polite staff with an awesome atmosphere. The Sports Bar offers great pool table and darts too - and not just that. There’s regular karaoke and jam sessions - and of cause you can watch sports.
Next to that you can have great vegan and veggie food. From traditional Thai to falafel, also for takeaway.
Go to this place, I am sure you wouldn’t regret it.

We stumbled on this place after walking around trying to find food for an hour. The owner and his wife were super nice and unlike anywhere else they were still serving food after 10pm. We decided to be boring and went for ‘home food’ and it was great, the homemade French fries were the best I have had outside of North America. They also had a great vegetarian selection.

We spent a great evening at Extra time. The food was good and the owners very nice.
We played pool and made some new friends.

This is truly the best place on the island! We stayed for three nights on Koh Yao Noi and we was there every night.

If you want to have some nice bar feelings and maybe also some sports on tv or playing billiard or dart, this is a must have visit!

When I’m coming back to Thailand for vacation I will definitely go back to this island just for that place.

The owners are two of the best people we have met on our travels. Very welcoming in their lovely sports bar! Worth a visit if you're in Koh Yao Noi for some pool, darts, many other games and great company. Amazing food!

Very good burgers. The meat was really delicious and the service was great. Prices are normal for being a burguer restaurant in an Island. Furthermore you can watch Premier League and Spanish Liga while enjoy you hamburguer. Great!

You must visit. Richard and his wife are super friendly. Richard knows the island and shares all. He introduces you to the other guests. Food is delicious. They have good coffee as well. Be sure to stop by when you are on the island
