We had a lovely time here! Great room with a private pool. We saw hornbills every day during early morning. Staff is super friendly. It is an amazing place to relax.

Visited Awana Koh Yao Noi in February; the heat affected the lake, leaving it half empty. The staff is exceptionally friendly, creating a warm, family-like atmosphere in the intimate resort with few rooms. However, the private pool lacked shade, impacting its usability. A recommendation for the resort would be to consider offering car rentals, not just scooters, catering to families for a more versatile transportation option.

BY FAR the best hotel we stayed on the island.
Better than 4 times more expensive hotels (Cape Kudu, Paradise…)

Staff is lovely, swimming pool is awesome and the rooms are really really nice.

Plus you are next the local heart of the island.
10min motorbike and you are at the nicest beaches.

No brainer

This is our second time staying here, and we've never been disappointed with Alama. It offers everything we desire: quiet surroundings, cleanliness, a large swimming pool, and friendly staff (everyone smiles and greets with 'Sawadee' whenever we walk by).

Although this place isn't very close to the sea, it's not too far from the beaches. I would choose to stay here again if we travel to this area.

Excellent location, 2 min away from the center of the village by motorbike. The resort is super clean, nestled in the jungle and the staff is sweet and helpful ! Would recommend 100% !

My favorite hotel during the entire Thailand trip. Spaceous individual bungalows, with own terrace. Loved the pool and the bar. Thanks for the amazing hospitality!

Awesome room, wonderful service. Booking extras here (like day trips) is slightly expensive but worth it. The food is truly great.

10 out of 10! Great place to stay on island, all the stuffs were incredibly friendly and with great smile, great pool that you have to try also very quiet and great maintenence too all the facilities. Bed was comfy and big, the terrace is with great view too!

Villa with private pool (with jacuzzi) and it was hands down the best place we stayed at during our trip. It’s beautiful, peaceful, well maintained. It’s close to the market (5 minutes ride). The staff was incredibly welcoming and accommodating, loved everything about our experience. Would absolutely stay there again next time we’re on Koh Yai Noi!

We stayed here overnight on a paddling tour and it was perfect. We would definitely come back to stay longer!

THe staff were super friendly, everything was very clean. They had a great pool, happy hour time, bar by the pool and a restaurant with tasty food.

We stayed in a bungalow with AC and a beautiful bathroom/shower and 2 tents. The tents had queen beds and AC however you had to use the shared bathroom.

The poolside was very relaxing and the staff always happy to help.

THe restaurant wasn’t too pricey and we all enjoyed our food - the portions could be a little better - the mango/sticky rice was a perfect ending to the meal!

Highly recommend staying here.

This hotel is absolutely amazing. I wasn't expecting much as it was so cheap and I was absolutely blown away upon arrival. The private pool is amazing and such a sun trap and the colour contrast against the lake was absolutely stunning. The area is amazing and the ability to rent a bike from the hotel is wonderful.
The staff make this hotel amazing, big thank you to Gai and the team for really looking after us and providing us with amazing food, transport help and assisting when we had a motorbike accident. Such friendly, caring and helpful staff, it felt like staying with family. Sadly it rained every day on our trip and we can't wait to return next year to enjoy that gorgeous pool in the sun. Thank you!

We had two villas with a private pool which was really great. Just the bed was very hard and there was no option to hang your clothes.
The collect you when you arrive by boat and they bring you back.
Food in the hotel restaurant was very good and the price was really okay.
Overall the price for the hotel was good value for the money.

What an amazing place, we feel so lucky to have stumbled across this when looking for accommodation. It's off the beaten track, full of peace and tranquility with just the sound of nature in the background. Room was stunning. Staff genuinely helpful & friendly. Food was of good quality reasonably priced. Breakfast had an authentic edge. Lovely pool area. A really relaxing place to stay. We hired a scooter from the Awana which was great to get around and see the island. We'll definitely return.

This is a boutique resort beautifully designed. We were very happy with the accommodations and the great service was the icing on the cake.

We arrived at the end of low season and were a little worried about being the only guests. They still staffed and ran the entire place as though it was at full capacity. Thankfully we were wrong about being the only ones - we saw other guests on the morning.

They picked us up and dropped us off at the pier for no extra charge. We rented a scooter from the resort - very well maintained.

Breakfast was great. The whole resort has a very welcoming and homely feel. We would definitely go back for another stay.

We stayed 3 nights at this excellent and silent place! The staff is friendly and welcoming, they serve a very nice breakfast with pancake, sweet Thai rice dishes and your favorite choice of eggs. Also you can get bikes for free to explore the island, even though they were a little too small for us in size, we enjoyed the day a lot! Also you can rent a scooter with Awana. The rooms are excellent and even better than on the pictures - you will enjoy it! A very very nice accomodation and highly recommendable! Not necessary to say but since I’m always looking for this one information - exceptionally clean! Big thank you to everyone at Awana.
Side note: the guys at Awana are into Vespa and Harley and have some really cool bikes (not for rent ;))

Very kind and helpful staff, clean, cozy and spacious bungalows with private infinite whirpool! that is automatically triggered, it was on in the morning, afternoon and night.
Great and lovely space around, ponds, fountains, bridge, flowers and trees.
There is big infinite pool with bar for cocktails, wow!!
For breakfast we had option of eggs and automatically we got fruits and thick pancake with honey. We even got to taste traditional thai breakfast, which was great and I think if you ask for it, you would get it instead of the eggs 😉
During our stay they were celebrating 3rd year, it was nice to see cheerful children run around the place while parents were enjoying their time with the hosts. We were invited to taste traditional thai food, noodles with curry and vegetables. It was great and so nice from the hosts.

Beautiful resort with bungalows next to a lake. The staff is very friendly and helpful. But make sure you like bugs and salamanders, because they are everywhere (on the whole island).

Awana is a beautiful little oasis away from the main part of Yaonoi. Traditional design and tasteful architecture, with a clear focus on being eco-friendly. The rooms are clean, spacious and well-fitted. The shared spaces are lovely and well placed with the sun in mind. Above all else, the staff are amazing people and made our stay on the island unforgettable!

Great hotel in the middle of the nature. Very relaxing.
However no wifi in the rooms and lots of bugs, noisy birds and geckos.
