A-Na-Lay Resort

This is my 3rd time in this resort and I love it! I can understand some of the reviews that gave them less than 3* but, I think they are looking for a luxury place at a bargain price. Brothers, if you want more luxury than this, then pay for it and get into one of these soulless places.
Everything is great here. The rooms, the restaurant area, the staff is super friendly. I didn’t move the whole 5 days of my stay, not even to have food in a different restaurant (it’s true that I know the island pretty well)
It is quiet, there’s space for everyone without bother each other. The sunset is amazing, the water is super clean.
Don’t think it twice BUT go with a positive vibe, if not, any place in island will disappoint you

Our stay was incredible and we har nothing but positive experiences. The service was excellent, the food was delicious and fresh , everything about the resort was brilliant. Would highly recommend staying here.

Loved this resort for its amazing sunset views, rustic boardwalk and pier, comfy seafront huts (better stay here than the rooms on the slope!) and gorgeous beach and waters – so clear, clean and inviting ... best of all, no sandflies! We enjoyed the Thai food here, especially the noodles – authentic and so delicious I had them almost every day (the pic here is Pad Kee Mao or drunken noodles). Staff were lovely, especially the guys at the restaurant, they were super attentive and sweet. Would stay here again for sure.

Had a great stay here ,two nights three days package. The food was delicious and plentiful. The bungalow had a great view of sea. The staff was friendly and helpful. The tour guides to the waterfall and snorkeling were very knowledgeable. Our overall experience was awesome. Can’t wait to book another trip. Ps, thank you staff and owner.

Ate here. Best noodles I've had anywhere, the restaurant is definitely geared more at Chinese tourists so it's cheaper and more interesting than the more expensive resorts on the island. Looked like they had a range of accommodation - from very basic huts by the beach to quite nice looking bungalows on stilts by the sea.

Worth every Bath.

Our second stay at A-Na-Lay was again just perfect. I have read lots of reviews where people complain about bugs and gekkos, but those people should just stay away from Koh Kood. This island is still the real Thailand with small street kitchens, minimum of cars, and a lot of nature and animal life. Here you can enjoy your holiday together with the locals instead of just be part of a tourist trap stealing your money.

We stayed near the beach in a big double bungalow, with balcony, aircondition, hot water and view to the jungle from the shower. The rooms was nice and clean. And yes always something to complain about if you want. The doorlock was jammed, the 1. floor A/C was not working, holes made of some kind of animal in the wall and so on. But it doesn't matter at all.... its Thailand and everything is different. So is the temperature, the nature, and the value for money.

Friendly staff and a nice private beach. Perfect resort for a family trip.

Older rooms but great views and quiet. Kinda a Robinson Crusoe vibe which I loved. Very nice private beach fantastic value would totally stay here again.

Awesome location, own beach, good views.

Nice hotel close to the water and good reef for snorkelling. Friendly helpful people running it. Good buffet breakfast. My kids would have given it one extra star if pancakes were included. Stayed here for five nights

Great food, incredible service and very friendly staff

Got the last bungalow by the beach, further-est away from the resort. Lovely by day with the beach right in front, lovely by night, with jungle-orchestra from the pond behind us. Crickets, frogs, birds, lizards, beetles, almost like the lagoon from "The little mermaid". Amazing experience!

The place was great - got the room overlooking the beach, we had great time staying here. The food was ok, the service was great. Wanna come back to Koh Kood again :)

Great location. Great area to swim in. Great area to just relax. Oh, and pretty good food too! Staff is great and very attentive.

Friendly welcome, good food, good view, and the beach is absolutely perfect very private and quiet (under the sea is still good, tell no one)

Fantastic paradise..snorkling and kajaking were an absolute wow experience..nice staff..good food..beautiful sunset...what can i ask for??? Far and close to everything...rent a scooter

For me it is the best point on the island, have a very beautiful beach, a very good place for snorcheling and a very good Cocktailbar

I just visited there for snorkeling. Even now is rainy season but water so clear and lots of fish there.
