Black bananas kohkood

We were pretty lucky to get seated immediately during dinner time, Black Bananas is usually quite full and for good reason.

Staff are amazing and always smiling, and every table has a bell in case you need something or are ready to order which I think is a great idea!

I know Thai food is generally amazing, but our meal here was 10/10. I don’t have photos of everything we ate, but the popcorn chicken was deliciously crispy, and the sweet and sour dip that came with it made a perfect combination. I took pad Thai and my partner took the chicken cashew dish - both were made with love.

I’m obsessed with mango sticky rice, so I had to treat myself at the end, and it was the best desert to end a great meal.

Definitely recommend, but make sure you come a bit early since it’s usually full at peak times.

Nice restaurant on the water. There is a long wait, but they offer several board games to pass the time. Somewhat more expensive than other restaurants on the island. The north Thai curry soup was great, the fried fish was excellent, but unfortunately the banana in coconut milk was awful. So salty, I could not finish it.
They let the soapy water directly into the lagoon, which is not nice.

The best restaurant in Koh kood. We stayed for 3 days and we were at this place every day. Northern yellow curry noodles is so yummy!!

One of the best cappuccino and latte we had in Thailand, foam with chocollate and brown sugar and with mango sticky rise is like parradise in my mouth :-) and very friendly staff too.

A gorgeous little family run restaurant serving delicious food & drink in a chilled vibe atmosphere. Will definitely be going back next time we are back on the Island. Lots of returning customers whilst we where there 😊

Island food is never as good as the authentic Thai food you will get outside touristic areas. This place is the exception. The food is amazing and the atmosphere is very nice.

First night in Koh Kood, and found this great restaurant just next to our resort. Huge portions with great taste! Absolutely one of the best food I've been eaten in Thailand.

Best food on the island! Incredible place, very family and kids friendly (games for entire family are available to use while waiting for the order). We loved it. It would be perfect if they would also have fresh coconut

Delicious green curry and mango sticky rice! For the curries the spice level can be adjusted. In my opinion level 4/5 was still quite mild! Always very busy here so make sure to come early or make a reservation.

Nice restaurant with affordable prices and good food. The portions aren't too big, but if you're not too hungry, they are enough:)

A really amazing place. We were almost every day at black bananas. It doesn’t matter what you choose on the menu. Everything is absolutely delicious. The best place on the island.

Cute place with amazing food! We've been around Thailand for a week already but this is one of our top meals. Love it! The food came out quick and the staff is friendly.

We got the garlic chicken, the green curry and the mango sticky rice and it was 🤩. Everything is good but we highly recommend the garlic chicken.

The food is divine and elegantly served. The staff is very kind and always smiling. Also wonderful location, next to a stream, and great prices.
We got fried sea bass, pad thai and stir fried chicken with cashew nuts, plus two very nice cocktails, all for 1300 baht.
We will definitely go again!

Nice and cozy local restaurant with good food and really good coffee! We had coffee and a chicken wrap which was amazing.

Best and loveliest restaurant on the island! Ate here 3 times, always different dishes. All of them were perfect. Atmosphere is super nice. Owner family is caring just perfect. 100% recommendation!
