Moonlight Cottage

Tidy hotel rooms close to the pier. We rented a scooter directly at the hotel for 250b per day.

The rooms were very luxurious, equipped with even a separated shower, divided from the rest of the bathroom using a shower curtain. Which is very hard to find in Thailand. Breakfast was very good and delivered to your room for you to eat on the front porch.

Super kind owners meant a cheap overnight stay en route to Koh Yao Noi turned into a wonderful experience in this off-the-beaten track part of Phuket. The room was large, modern and spotlessly clean with all the amenities you can think of, with luxurious soft sheets on the bed. For dinner the owners offered us free use of their scooter to pop into the local settlement (where there is a wonderful restaurant). We slept in after an exhausting liveaboard trip and woke up to a cute box of Thai breakfast goodies, then we got dropped off at the pier free of charge too. Thank you so much for a memorable stay ✨

Spacious room with affordable price. Close to Bang Rong pier to catch the morning ferry to other islands. It’s a 20-minute walk to the pier and we were grateful that the owner drove us all the way there.

From the airport transfer until we left the hotel for the pier, everything was wonderful with Moonlight Cottage and its staff. The staff was very kind and helpful beyond expectations, the restaurant was beautifully designed, delicious and pleasant for breakfast and supper. The area is green, well kept and quiet. The rooms are spacious, with great a/c, large bed and nice porch in front. The owner was very helpful and even took us to the nearby minimarket for a small purchase because it was already dark. We stayed with a toddler and it was perfect. Recommended in every way.

This was an absolute gem of a place. Our rooms were beautiful, the staff were so kind, and the breakfast was phenomenal! Would definitely stay again!

Very nice accommodations. Clean, in great condition, well equipped and very affordable. Four large 'rooms' (they are separate, purpose built, duplex style buildings - can't be more than a couple years old) all fronting onto the garden area. Feels like you are isolated in great peaceful surroundings but really only 5 minutes from the main road stores, etc. The restaurant, also part of the same property, has a great selection and tasty food.

The drivers seem to have trouble finding it - the google maps location is correct as of April 2018 but you may have to direct your taxi turn by turn. Meter from the airport is under 500BHT.

Absolutely stunning accomodation. Decorated immaculately and so cheap! Its just off the beaten track set in the jungle so beautiful. The restaurant just across a little garden from the rooms serves delicious healthy food and the family who own it couldn't be more helpful, they arranged taxis and a moped for us whilst we were there. We visited a waterfall just minutes from the property and the elephant sanctuary is also very close. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

A really nice hotel with reasonable price. A bit far from the main road. But we rent the owner motor bike and it is really enjoyable to travel around local phuket's town. There's few tourist but the food is very different from food in phuket old town.

I had a lovely experience here. It's really pretty and peaceful and very close to the Bang Rong pier which is helpful if you are going to any of the Islands near there or on day trips.
The room was really attractive and clean and crisp and modern, and the bathrooms were also spacious and modern. And the views were surprisingly beautiful with full glass the entire front side facing out onto a pretty meadow with flower and trees. It all felt private and serene. The breakfast consisted authentic Thai delicacies of sweet rice treats wrapped in banana.. And the people that ran it were really sweet and helpful. They also let me keep my suitcase there for a few days while I was on an island which I really appreciated. And they drove me to the pier when I needed to go in their sweet motorcycle cart, and it was really fun and a great service, and they didn't expect me to pay for that, but I did bc it felt like such an above and beyond service to offer.

Very clean, nicely decorated and comfortable rooms in good condition in every way. Quiet and beautiful surroundings. Huge breakfast of delicious chicken and rice. I could use the motorbike free of charge to go to the village. Got a ride to the nearby pier free of charge. Too bad I only had one night, next time I will definitely stay longer!

Excellent price for great service. Moonlight Cottage was a very welcoming and comforting experience. There are only 4 units to the complex, but wow are they nice. We felt so relaxed opening the sliding doors to a large and open room with aircon and a big bathroom. In addition to the great accommodation, please try out their awesome and delicious restaurant!! At first, we thought it was going to be a simple restaurant attached to the cottages, but it was a newly renovated/built restaurant that served excellent food cooked by the family staff at a reasonable price.

We (couple) stayed here for 2 nights, were dropped off from "Phuket elephant sanctuary" where we had an early dinner.
We spent the whole next day in the national park at Bang Pae waterfall which is only 1.5km away, best to go on foot because there is a steep hill on the way, was glad we did not try it on a bike. Ate dinner there and hiked back.
We got a small but good breakfast which was an extra free service as well as a ride to bang rong pier for the boat to Koh Yao islands.
The owners are extremely friendly and what we were looking (and prepered) for was being 1-2km away from service. It is possible to get food delivered from a nearby restaurant or they pick you up.
The beds were a bit hard, which I liked, the AC worked well, maybe a little bit to well.
Recommended for people who want to take it slow and relax and enjoy the jungle.

I'm in love! Quaint and peaceful with gorgeous rooms and grounds and a fantastic staff! Perfect for a quiet romantic night when you want to get away from the craziness of the city. It's in the middle of nowhere but they provide bikes to ride into town and it's within walking distance of the Bang Pae waterfall. Absolutely incredible!

This hotel is beautiful, IMMACULATE, and has nicest staff and owner. It's situated between rubber trees and organic pineapple fields and close to Bang Pae and Tonsai waterfalls. The rooms and onsite restaurant are new and modern. The setting is so tranquil and quiet it was unreal. There is so much care put into every detail of this place I could go on forever of all the wonderful things we encountered here but I encourage you to try it for yourself. The price was spectacular too.

Can’t say enough good things about Moonlight Cottage. Beautiful garden, incredibly kind and welcoming hosts, perfectly clean and comfortable and spacious room, a lovely walk along a jungle road, and easy access to the airport and/or pier.

I stayed here only for one night but it's a wonderful quite peaceful place.
The next morning I took the boat to an island. The Cottage is very close to the Pier, therefore it is very comfortable to stay there.
A beautiful big clean room and very very nice staff.
It's not very good if you like party, or a lot of tourism around.

The place is neat and quiet on the outskirts - host is very welcoming and helpful!! The place is lil far off from the party places of Phuket.., but the environment here is equally refreshing!
Bangpae waterfalls if just 5min ride! We rented a Motorbike for 350THB/day (Host helped arrange in 10mins time) and thing were easier to commute! It might difficult be to go around if there’s no transportation planned!!
