The Snug Airportel

Great spacious room with a really comfy bed. The pool is also nice, though not very big. We didn't use the breakfast. It was great that the staff let us use the pool and showers after checkout, while we had a night flight. Great place to stay if you're flying off and also near the beach (30 min walk to the restaurant)

Little hidden in a cul de sac, friendly reception with very well-priced beverage facilities. Nice pool and spotless clean room with separate bathroom. All amenities available. A place really to consider as it offers a lot of secluded privacy close to the airport (5 minutes by car).

Location: 5 min drive or 15 min walk (sidewalks accessible) tucked away in a neighbor that’s quiet. next to a national park/beach, restaurants, close to a 7/11, beer at the hotel/hostel is not much more than local prices.

Atmosphere: the girls at the front desk are super nice!! One took me for a market another asked me to go to a party with them. Super welcoming. Good for families to backpackers. Enough lay-out chairs and a nice common room near the pool and a secret zen garden in the back. A few people on laptops working remotely.

Facilities: clean with big beds, shared women bathrooms. Locker deposit refundable and costs 200B. You can choice from private rooms and bunks. Plenty of rooms. Outlets for charging phone in common area next to reception and by pool.

A special gem hidden away a 5 min drive from the airport (250 Baht). Nate (Nopp) was fantastic, and very polite and accommodating, the food was prepared to order, and every meal we had was delicious. A short walk to the National Park beach, a 7-11, and massage business. Bed was comfy, and the climate system was excellent. We had a private room with a queen bed (room 105). I highly recommend this location as a perfect spot near the airport. We did several SeaStar snorkeling and sightseeing trips, and they picked us up right from the breakfast area. As a pilot, I really enjoyed sitting on the beach watching all the flights coming into Phuket. I'd stay here again with no second thoughts.

This is a perfect spot for anyone needing a night or two before leaving Thailand (extremely close to the international airport). Snug definitely fits the name because the location is at the end of a neighborhood. You will notice during your stay that a lot of tourists are in this area (because of proximity to airport). It is a Co-Ed Hostel situation. Bunk rooms will be mixed with boys and girls. Bathrooms are separate with one toilet and one shower and one sink for each. The bunks beds are snug but comfy. I stayed with one Thai girl and 2 German men and there was plenty of space for our stuff. You do have the option to book private rooms, typically queen size with their own bathrooms (I think). It’s super affordable. For three beds for two nights that I booked for me and my friends, about 2,700 THB which was 80$. There is loads of communal areas. There’s a fridge to store some food if you need. They also serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. Not included but also super cheap (like the most expensive things I saw was 250THB and it was a meal combo). They also have a laundry service here. You can do it your self or it’s 80THB/kg. They did my laundry same day!

I recommend using the Whatsapp phone number they provide when you make the reservation. They answer super quick and very helpful with any needs.

Last tips- Though there is no age limit on this hostel, it’s definitely a younger crowd pleaser. Older couples I’ve noticed book the private rooms. In case you’re wondering. When looking for the hidden gem, you’ll turn left when you see the 7/11 store and then another left when you hit the T intersection.

Overall my stay here was wonderful! It served my basic needs and I was able to dine out and get medication all in walking distance. The beach is a 30 minute walk but download Grab app for your taxi need or you can rent a scoot right outside their lobby. I had a great stay at the hostel. It's super clean and a great place to relax at the pool before you go catch a flight. You can literally just walk over to the airport and still it's quiet.
The staff is also extremely friendly and helpful.
Especially Nap could help me a lot (when I had a booking mistake) and he also speaks perfect English so the communication was very easy. I felt very welcomed!

The airpotel is sooooo cute and aptly named Snug. As soon as we entered, we felt the warmth of the place. The reception was polite and sweet. He told us everything about the place and took us to the room. Although they dont have veg options, but they can make every dish they have on their menu veg. The rooms were so cosy and smelled so fresh. We couldn’t have asked for anything better on our last day in Phuket. Lovely place and people. Definitely recommend it.

I just stayed here for one night, but it is very convenient. It is about a 15 minute walk to the airport and a 10 minute walk to the beach. The beds are comfortable and the place is clean. Staff are friendly, just a good atmosphere overall. The rooms also come with an aroma machine that smells like a massage studio which helps keep the rooms fresh. Everybody can access a hot water machine, a refrigerator, some dishes, and a clothes drying rack. Each bed comes with a locker that would hold a laptop, tablet or other device. Many people share one bathroom which may be a problem when they are fully booked.

Lovely hostel within a 15 minute walk from the airport. Staff allowed us to do a late check-in and were so friendly and accommodating (although some spoke very little English). Room was clean and shower was really good. There was some music playing around 10pm from nearby, maybe from a bar, but we still fell asleep very quickly. Could bring earplugs if you are bothered by that sort of thing (it was a Saturday night to be fair). The pool looked very clean and you can buy drinks and snacks to have. They let us hang around by the pool after our check-out time while we waited for our bus. Would recommend this place.

4 minutes away from the airport which is awesome, and the pool is really nice with plenty of lounge seating, shade, and the bar/cafe a few steps away. The room I was in was perfect, the little porch was cute for sitting and reading. The garden was also so nice and relaxing after a stressful day at the airport. I wish I could have seen what it is like with more people there as it is really well set up for spcializing but for a one-night stay before my flight it was absolutely perfect.

What a cute and nice place. Beds are comfy (and have curtains, which is a nice bonus), staff is nice, the pool and backyard are both nice hangout spots, and best of all: you can walk to the airport in 15 minutes! Great place!

We had a very nice stay at this hotel! Everyone at the lobby was so welcoming and accomodating. Room was clean. We liked using the bicycles to explore the surroundings, and the fact that the airport is at walking distance (10-15 minutes). Definitely recommend!

Best place to do transit, near airport,have pool , if youre using airport bus, do drop off just before airport , i was catching an 11pm flight , staff was very kind to allow us a group of 3 to share same room

Charmingly little oasis with nice details, very clean rooms and facilities. But the best is the super friendly, caring and helpful stuff. The location is very close to the airport but in a quiet area. Thank you for the nice stay.

When I was going Bangkok from Phuket, I stayed here for a night. Amazing staff who were very friendly and kind. Booked a dorm bed and had the whole place to myself, as well as the pool. Such a great aesthetic, with the fairy lights and music by the pool. They let me borrow a bike for free to cycle to the beach and it was incredible. Beautiful sand and water, had some dinner at the Italian place just down the road.

I came again when I was going back from Phuket to Sweden and everything was just as high standard. Great air-conditioning, bathroom was clean and they provided mosquito cream that kept them away. Would definitely stay again, 10/10!

Lovely helpful staff. Perfect location, 7 minute walk to the beach and 3 min to all the shops and restaurants, 6 min drive to airport. Beds are so cute, clean and comfy.

We arrived with a late flight, this hotel is very close to the airport, perfect for the first night.

Pool is open 24 hours so no worry about your late night or early morning flights, if you want to take a dip before you go.

There is a small garden and reading corner for relaxation.

We stayed here for 2 nights before catching a flight from phuket. It's close to the airport but also in a cute area with good access to quieter beaches and the bang pae waterfall, which we went to with a motorbike we rented from hotel. Lots of good massage parlors nearby too and walking distance to a beach.
We paid just a little more for the larger room with a sofa and were very pleased. The room was very spacious and comfortable definitely great value for money. The staff is amazing, super friendly and helpful with all our wishes. Loooved the fresh coconuts from the pool garden 😍
