Spicy Salad Bar & Restaurant

My favorite restaurant / cocktail bar on the island! Perfect place to spend a few hours reading a book and gazing out at the palm trees. All the food is delicious, the staff is super sweet and thoughtful, music is lovely- classic jazz and bossa nova. Perfect escape from the party vibes of Koh Phangan to something elegant, peaceful and beautiful. Try a cocktail with the rhubarb and ginger infused gin- so good..!

The re-opened 3 months ago, the owner put so much love into designing the space and the menu. The food was super fresh and high quality ingredients, we had a green curry and tom kha soup and some sides and juices (try mango-coconut) and it was all delicious. It’s not beach front but has a jungle feel to it what we really enjoyed as well. Definitely worth a visit 🙏

Really nice quilt place under palmtrees. Little from road so it is very quiet. And most important: great thai food.

Is this the most beautiful restaurant on Koh Phangan? Quite possibly. Set amidst the coconut trees just off the beach road in Hin Kong the stunning round bamboo structure with cathedral ceilings is unmissable. Delicious Khao Soi, classic curries, salads, great cocktails, Spicy Salad is great for romantic dinners, sunset cocktails or a group of friends. Do not miss this restaurant!

Very nice place. Not anymore at the beachfront, but a nice shady place a 100 m from the beach. Tasteful setting, nice relaxing music, great food, attentive and very friendly people.

Sometimes it sucks when you find places like this because it makes every other place you've been to seem so inferior...

The view here is phenomenal, the service was great, they put little mosquito coils under the tables for you. This place is just too cute. You sit at the tables, feet on the sand, soak in the incredible view while they serve you amazing food.

We had the no-name entree which was great followed by a whole snapper. I didn't get a chance to photograph it before we demolished it, so enjoy the bones. Sorry not sorry. (It was amazing by the way).

Had a lovely lunch at this cute little beachside restaurant. Very friendly staff. I came at a non busy time so I received my food very quickly, like 5 minutes! However I would happily wait and enjoy the views if I came at a busier hour, it is a small restaurant after all! I spent 330 baht for tofu pad Thai and their signature mojito cocktail. Very pleasant experience! Excited to come back.

Amazing little beach restaurant. Walk along salad beach, and at the very end you'll find this romantic little spot with delicious food and great views. So charming and the food was perfect! We had the 'no name' and the whole fish and devoured it

Service is excellent. And the food… The food is delicious. Their laarb and khao soi are the best I had on Koh Pha-Ngan.

Amazing beach restaurant, very romantic! The food was great! We've been there 2 times, one time for dinner and one time during the day. During the day we enjoyed one part of the place where you can stay on mattresses with an amazing view over the sea. I really loved to stay there the entire afternoon, reading my book and having a fresh juice or a fruit place from time to time.

Lovely and romantic place at the end of Salad beach. We were lured in by the atmosphere, then became regular because of the amazing food and staff.
My GF loved the mango sticky rice! While we were on the island we kept coming back even if it was out of the way sometimes. :)
There is no picture of the mango sticky rice, as it was devoured as soon as it arrived! :D

Lovely little Jem at the end of Haad Salad beach. Different from all the other places on the beach. Lovely chilled music. Not a massive menu but I like that. What they do they do well and in a lovely setting taking one back many years to a Thailand of old.

Drive to the end of the little road and enjoy ONLY the sounds of nature and soothing music. ✨ Cute place with a good selection. Garden seating for private conversations.

This is a fantastic restaurant and bar with the most amazing view across Haad Salad. All food here has been very tasty, and great cocktails. The staff are very friendly and helpful, always with a smile. I can't think of a better place to watch the sunset and drink a Pina Colada!

Best meal we’ve had all month in Thailand! Come here after the sunset and get the red snapper with chilli sauce and the Khao Soi :)
