The place is wonderful, the views are unbelievable and the highlight of the place is the staff. Muhammad and Steve were always available to drive us to anywhere we wanted in the island and also introduced us to wonderful places we would not have gotten to without them.
Highly recommended! We will surely visit again.

I am just back from a 5 night stay at Monkey Flower Villas with my extended family. We had such a lovely stay, despite Koh Tao having pretty rubbish weather when we were there. The view from the villa is the best I have ever seen after many stays on Tao 😍 it is well worth the crazy drives up & down the hills! The staff were all great - Mo was always responsive via WhatsApp; and Steve the taxi driver was very friendly. It was great to have Steve to drive us anywhere we needed to go on the island and he was very kind and gave my son a toy snake which he was delighted with!! I loved the rustic look of the Villa having the rocks etc in some of the rooms. All the rooms were very comfortable and clean and the view from the balcony on the top floor was incredible! The pool with the swing seat was also great. I highly recommend a stay here!

This is the most amazing place to stay in Koh Tao. Mohammed who runs it is amazing and so reasonable, great service and really looked after us all week, taking us to amazing spots and picking us up free of charge. Absolutely stunning pool, views, the rooms are amazing and so comfortable. BBQ, speakers, coffee machine and tvs with Netflix in the rooms. 100% recommend, loved it so much. Thank you!

The best place I've ever stayed in my life. Me and a few friends booked the gardenia villa last minute on a diving trip to ko Tao and it has absolutely transformed our experience here. Wow wow wow. The villas have been built to such an impeccable standard you don't feel the need to go anywhere, you have it all!
You can evidently see the commitments made by all staff here. Especially Steve and Muhammed, who you can have nothing but a positive interaction with.
All villas that have been built here will truly make your jaw drop. 10/10 architecture that sits over looking sairee. I take my hat off to anyone who has had anything to do with the construction of these absolute work of arts. Especially the tree house! Will be back next year without a doubt to enjoy this for longer.

What can I say… if I could give 10 stars for this place I would! I cane to this villa with a group of 10 people, some of whom I had only met once, and the rest never before. This place brought us together as a family, and was a paradise for us all. The information given to us by the manager, Mohammed, was priceless. He told us where to eat, what to see, and to top it off, he offered a free taxi, taking us to all destinations…. 24HR SERVICE! The hospitality and attention to detail was second to none, and when we planned to have a bbq/party which there was no issue with at all, he even provided us with everything we needed. Throughout, there was a mutual respect and handling a group of 10 travellers, who did like to have, maybe a bit too much fun, is a mean feat for anyone. However, Mohammed made it that much easier for us all!

Also a massive shout out to the cleaning staff who came everyday to tidy up the mess of 10 travellers, cleaning the pool and bedrooms to an excellent standard and overall extremely understanding.

Whether it be a group of friends travelling, a family holiday or relaxing retreat, I could not recommend this place anymore. Long live Monkey Flower Villas…. Or as it has been rebranded to Casa Del Rolo

The stay at Monkey Flower's Wells is an amazing experience because of the amazing service, especially the amazing Steve, who I will never forget. The rooms are great, a pool is attached to the room. The hotel is surrounded by lovely vegetation. The hotel has an amazing view. The rooms are excellent, very clean and equipped with everything you need. It should be noted that getting to the hotel is a bit difficult, but the hotel provides shuttle services to and from the hotel at all hours of the day and in fact all over the island and there is no need to use taxi services at all.

Other people's excellent 5/5 reviews are well justified, and I fully agree on how great this stay was. We stayed in Villa 1, with a beautiful view of the bay. Steve and Mohammad were an excellent team, helping us get around the island and feel as welcome guests. Very clean, the private pool was amazing, the place had a nice speaker to play music, the shower was sunken into the floor and amazing pressure and heat. I could go on, but the main thing to note is our stay was worth every penny and we even talked about wanting to come back for a future honeymoon (if we get married anytime soon LOL)!

We stayed in the main villa which was amazing and had perfect views over the bay. The staff, especially Steve and Mo made the stay even better. I highly recommend staying at Monkey Villas if you are looking for high end accommodation, a great view, and an even better team to look after you.

Amazing place, incredible hosts.

Liked · The location was amazing, the view from the pool was incredible, but the highlight of this stay was the hosts. A flawless pickup from Steve and a thorough, warm greeting from Mohammed.
Steve was like our own personal driver, 5-10 mins away 24/7. Mohammed then helped us with booking trips etc. Made us feel like VIPs!
The villa was well equipped, even including fresh coffee beans, a grinder and a proper filter coffee machine. Great touch for those who like their caffine.
Sadly we had 3 days of rain for our stay, but we used the pool regardless and still made the most of visiting town.
Despite the weather Koh Tao was by far our favourite place on our 3 week trip. We'll be back!

Wow what a beautiful place to stay on this paradise island of Koh Tao.

We stayed in the Bougainvillea Villa, a 2 bedroom house with a loft above which was perfect for the children. There is a nice kitchen but we also used the food delivery often.

The swimmingpool is great to cool off and the views were fantastic.

Steve will bring you anywhere you want, you get a local phone with you so you can call him if you need a ride. He is the best !

We stayed for a week and we definitely want to come back to this nice place.

Absolutely stunning place. Stayed here for 8 nights and was bowled over by the fantastic service from Steve who drove us anywhere we wanted to go at any time of day or night. Not only that but Steve and Mo we're always on hand with great advice for best trips, shops etc.
The villa that we stayed in was immaculate and kept that way by invisible staff who popped in whenever we went out. Pool and the views simply stunning.
An absolutely brilliant place and the best customer service. The Hill family will definitely be returning!

We went as a group of 8 friends and stayed in Monkey Villa-Gardenia during Nov ‘22. We were blown away the second we stepped foot on the property after a fun ride up the steep hill. The property’s private pool has a breathtaking view of the Island also viewable from the main living room, kitchen, master bedroom, and studio. Greeted by Mohammad (Mo), the Manager and very safely driven by Steve, the driver, they both were extremely hospitable and friendly, making us feel right at home. This duo made our stay very comfortable-from arranging an amazing snorkeling trip, to giving tips on the best local bars/restaurants/beaches/entertainment, to hooking us up for a sports game, to arranging our ferry ride back to Koh Samui, to driving us everywhere practically even in the middle of the night, all with a smile. They were literally a phone(provided) call away!

The villa was immaculately clean, lots of light, beautifully decorated with wooden furniture, and very well put together. There was us fresh local fruits and drinks for guests. The beds and pillows (that makes or break a stay for me) were point on. They had a great music system setup, and the overall vibe was magical (also coming from someone who doesn’t believe in magic). The climb up the spiral tree house was an adventure in itself. The view from the pool side transforms beautifully from day to night, so serene and peaceful. You can stroll up and down the hill and get a feel of the jungle or rent a bike, or simply call the duo for pickup.

I may not be doing justice in my words to describe the beauty of this place, the hospitality of the staff and service, all I can say is, it has left a lasting impression on us! You have to see it and feel it to believe it. I have been raving about it to all my friends and cannot wait to go back there again!!!

This was hands down the greatest place I’ve ever stayed. I met Lincoln at the pool at the place I was staying to get my diving certification and he was not only very nice, but told me about the Monkey Flower. I looked into it and booked 1 night for my girlfriend and I. Steve picked us up and Mo greeted us there only to find one of the best views I’ve ever seen, met with the coolest designs with thought in every detail. We ended up booking 2 more nights until the end of our trip and didn’t want to leave. Steve drove us to multiple locations and gave us a lot of helpful information. It was like a great friend that we were happy just to hang out with him. Mo was great too and helped us out at the end get to the ferry on our way home. Any time we left the villa, we came home to a completely cleaned place. Lincoln personally saw us off on our last day and I can say the whole team is truly one of a kind, not to mention the upper villa itself. It provided complete privacy, but still with a sense of so much room to walk around and not feel confined. The amazing view was seen from the infinity pool as well as the bedroom, and the bridge to the roof to hang out or jump in the pool was an added bonus. I can say I had the best time of my life there and will never forget it. I wish I could live there, but at the very least I am determined to come back. Thank you guys, for everything.

Staying at Villa 1 was probably the nicest place I’ve ever stayed in my life. Absolutely gorgeous view to wake up to with the best pool, patio, and roof. What really made it special was Mo (property manager) and Steve (driver) who were welcoming, and willing to help with anything we needed! Highly recommend.

Monkey Flower is a very, very special place to stay - I can honestly say I don't think I've ever enjoyed a place I've stayed as much as I enjoyed this one. We had the upper and lower villas for ourselves and three teenagers, so they had room to move around. From the moment we went up the steep hill to get there we knew this was going to be a unique place - it really is one of a kind, and is set up and run by people who know what they are doing, which shows through in many ways. And the accommodation is awesome - the pool, the rooms, the 5-star (or more) view, the facilities, the secluded nature of the villa all make for a wonderful experience. Many small details had been thought of, and the attentiveness to detail and the service was as much as anyone could wish for. Steve and Muhammad are the nicest and chillest guys you could hope to meet and were super helpful with tips for whereto eat, where to go, and being on call via the provided phone to take us everywhere at any time. This is great because Monkey Flower is a real hilltop, jungle vibe hideaway and having transport to get into and around town in a matter of minutes is really cool - the best of both worlds. A special thanks to Steve for going the extra mile to care about us!! I could go on and on about this place, the pictures don't lie, but maybe don't even do it justice either. It is amazingly beautiful and you won't for a second regret staying here, I only hope I can go back some day!

An amazing villa, the host was incredible picked us up and dropped us off to the pier/town when we needed to and helped us with anything we needed. Highly recommend this place!

A group of 11 of us stayed in the large villa for a week. It was absolutely fabulous! The property itself is stunning, with views to match. You can trust the incredible photos and drone shots from
their page; it’s as impressive in real life! It was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with cozy beds and hot showers. Our trip was absolutely made by Steve, who is supposedly the “driver” but actually the man behind it all! Not only did he drive us to and from various destinations (a huge relief for the few of our party who did not want to drive motorbikes, & for preventing the whole group from having to drive at night) but he was responsive, helpful, efficient and friendly in response to inquiries and requests. The cleaning team also deserve a shout out for keeping the villa spotless and managing to keep up with the supply of towels & linens for such a big group. This is absolutely the place for a large group and we were not ready to leave when the week was up. Highly recommended:)

The villa was amazing with great views of the beach. The staff, Muhammad and Steve were on point - they provided us with motos and even bailed us out when we did not have boat tickets to leave rhe Island. Overall, excellent luxury living.

We spend just one night on that villa, was awesome! Really big, all clean, the pool, the views..ill come back for sure!!! 100% recomended!!

We had an excellent stay at the Monkey Flower Villas - villa 3 had its own gorgeous pool with waterfall, lovely garden and views of the coast. The house is spacious and well attended to. Mohammed and Steve were incredibly helpful and Steve was available literally 24x7 to take us anywhere we wanted to go on the island within a few minutes notice. He was so kind and dedicated to providing the best service. Thank you Steve and team for an excellent stay - we would highly recommend Monkey Flower villas :) chau
