Centara Life Government Complex Hotel & Convention Centre Chaeng Watthana

In July I forgot my office bag in the taxi after arriving at the hotel from the airport. I was worried because it had important work stuff inside. I met a really helpful hotel employee outside the hotel.

This person was not only super capable but also incredibly helpful. He quickly took charge of the situation, talking to people and making phone calls to try to get my bag back.

I thought my bag was gone forever, but they showed me that they knew what he were doing. He made me feel like he were going to do everything he could to help. Thanks to him, I got my bag back, and it made me believe in good customer service again. This person from the hotel was a real hero who knew how to take care of their guests. Thank you so much!

We arrived very early in the morning (before 7am) and Starbucks was already working! Joke served us very friendly and supportive. The coffee was tasty, such a relief when waiting for the immigration offices to open

We did stayed several times here due to the fact that this hotel is direct inside the government area. We booked normal room’s and as well Junior Suite’s (pictures). Everyone of the staff try always there upmost that you feel welcome 24/7. The rooms are super clean. The bed, duvet and pillows are nice - you can sleep like a baby. The doors are thick, that you normally do not hear the corridor. Even wishes like flower delivery is no problem. Everybody try to be professional as possible. Honestly i feel already like it is my second home.

We like this hotel a lot!

Unless you are familiar with it's location, it is very likely you would miss it as the name displayed on front is not clearly visible from the road.
Staff are extremely friendly and polite. Rooms are comfortable but air-conditioning blower sound is a bit loud, and room door needs maintenance. Breakfast was not bad, with a selection of a wide range of Thai, Asian, and some international dishes, however, I couldn't find any cheese to go with the bread. The hotel has a small counter by the main entrance that offers few pastries, drinks and the sort, but during my stay for one day, hotel receptionists had to serve me twice as no staff was manning the counter. It is friendly atmosphere and somehow looks like it had frozen in time for a long period with out of date designs and furniture. It is suitable for business meetings and I wouldn't recommend for tourists.

Loved this hotel! There was an explosion from a chemical factory near my home and there was no other hotel to evacuate, Centra by Centara Government Complex Hotel opened their arms to us and took my family in! More than that, they upgraded the room for us since we have 3 peoples. Nice Staff! RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ALL!

Its might be the situation of covid-19 that effect staff quantity.
So some services you have to do by yourselves, however they try to support all your requests good as they can do.
Many staff need new uniforms.

Excellent location if you are there for work with one of the government institutions. Close to grocery stores and some small malls. Very comfortable stay and extremely helpful staff from the reception, to the restaurant to the cleaning staff. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.
