Very nice and beautiful place to visit and learn about elephant rescue. I booked a 90mins trip but it was quite packed with interesting experience. Can enjoy peaceful time feeding the elephants, see them take a mud bath and walk with them in the forest.

Staff was also very kind and seem to enjoy their job, welcoming all kinds of questions.

It takes more than 1 million bahts to buy an elephant from cruelty so please support this nice place by simply visiting. It really gave me an experience of a life time.

Very knowledgeable staff, and Very loving with the elephants, you can tell from the way they treat and how they speak about their 3 elephants and the baby one. They are passionate about doing what's right and protect the elephants free will. We had a very pleasant experience and many photos and videos one to one with the elephants. Amazing memories.

Beautiful...... Get to see the elephants relaxing in amazing grounds, 🐘 friendly, no silly elephant rides, 4 🐘🐘🐘🐘 3 adult and 1 baby, oldest is 47, feeding tours available, they love bananas 🍌 and sugarcane. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable 5⭐

Fantastic café, food was so good. Lots of places to wash hands and gifts available too...
There is a play area and can also picnic. Bathrooms are clean and disabled one available also.

There was a children's drama group called Abstract Kids there during my visit, they use the space to teach during school holidays. Looked like great fun, unfortunately I was too old to join 🤣

We visit this reserve today for the first time.
They have beautiful female elephants (3 of them)
Was rescued and now living a happy life.
We were a group with 4 little kids and they absolutely loved to feed and touch elephants. We had very interesting guide Tom, he knows a lot about elephants and their habitat, good English speaking skills and gave a comfortable experience. I highly recommend this place.

We visited Phuket Elephant Nature Resort this week and was one of the best experiences we could have ever wished for. This is the place to go if you’re looking for somewhere which really cares about these beautiful animals and their well-being. There are no chains, weapons, forceful methods, riding or bathing. The elephants respond to their individual handler simply with words. We were looking originally at sanctuary’s offering bathing options with elephants but so pleased we didn’t as this stresses the animals and handlers have hidden nails to control them under the water. Please if you’re visiting Phuket and want to see happy healthy rescued elephants living a great life with people who care for them truly visit this sanctuary - you won’t be disappointed. Tom and his team are amazing with information and providing a great day with the elephants to keep them happy and calm

Had a good time at the short 90 minute elephant adventure. After an educational video we met and could feed the 3 rescue elephants and take photos. We also took a short walk to watch them play/eat at 2 water holes and in the jungle and were introduced to the latest rescued baby. An ethical sanctuary with no bathing with tourists 👍

Booked last minute and don't regret it.

It's a very natural and ethical environment. There is no use of chains/whips/ropes or any type of restraining devices. The elephants simply respond to a few words from their handlers. They don't force elephants to do anything they don't want to do and they roam free. You also get the opportunity to see them in their jungle area.

The tour guide was great and you can tell he has a genuine passion for the safety and well being of the elephants.

Amazing place for saved elephants. During our trip (which was longer that should be :) we’ve met 4 amazing females, feed them, touch them and see how they live in the sanctuary. No chains, no violence or abuse. Highly recommend to everyone who wants to support real sanctuary for this beautiful animals.

Absolutely wonderful experience today for the half-day AM session. Pickup and drop off was seamless at the start. All the sanctuary staff were friendly and spoke English well. Ina (? Spelling?) was an excellent guide: patient, educational, and very helpful. The three elephants are lovely. It’s nice they can wander on their walk and we just follow. The setting is very peaceful. The included lunch of pad Thai and Tom yum, followed by fresh fruit, is super filling and decent. I haven’t been hungry for dinner! Also really appreciate bug spray is provided as the mosquitos would be nasty otherwise. The spray helped tons. A bottle of water is also included. There are two lovely, snoozy house dogs as well, which love pets.

A really great day and well-worth the money.

A haven of peace for these rescued elephants. The only ethical place I know on Phuket where respect for animals is the priority. We observe and understand the rhythm of life of these 3 elephants with the minimum of interaction (no elephant rides, no mud baths with dozens of people around the animal). The elephants take the mud bath alone according to their desires. No chains on his leg, no mahout stick. A caring team that speaks in perfect English and answers all questions. The mahout addresses the elephant with gentleness and tenderness. Thank you for saving these elephants and allowing them to have a better life. A life that is as close as possible to wild life. I highly recommend this reserve if you want to see elephants while respecting the animal. Each contribution is important because it allows them to feed and take care of these 3 fantastic pachyderms and why not give them the opportunity to welcome other mistreated elephants. A big BRAVO

An amazing and ethical elephant experience to have which was very important to myself and my partner to find an ethical sanctuary where elephants are not bathed and riden by humans and we were very happy with our choice. We got to hear about their history, feed them, watch them play in the mud if they wish and walk into the jungle to watch them roam. Plenty of picture opportunities. Tom our guide was friendly and was informative. We did the 90 min tour and it was perfect for us. Would 1000% recommend to anyone.

What an amazing experience! We wanted to support an ethical sanctuary that looks after their elephants and after doing some research we came across this place. Everyone is so lovely, our tour guide Tom knew lots of information, was very friendly and took plenty of photos for us. Got to meet, feed and follow around the elephants. They all seemed very happy and looked after. Lunch at the restaurant was also delicious ☺

Please visit this place and not the other “non-ethical” sanctuaries. I had to look a lot to find a sanctuary where the animals are not used and forced to do something for the tourists at all. Here they rescued 3 elephants from tourists circuit and they are just showing to the visitors as they are, no forcing at all. There are the 3 instructors (of their job before) that know them and they just follow them, you can feed them, you can see them in the forest and prepare them the food. Don’t go in fake sanctuaries, come here and support this project! Thanks again to Tom, our guide, his really passionate about its job.

After doing loads of research of which elephant sanctuary to visit whilst we was in Phuket. My set my heart of this place after seeing videos of other peoples experiences on social media. When we arrived my gut instinct was right. This place is amazing! They really do have the best care and life for these elephants after rescuing them from the cruel lives they had before. (Rescued from being worked or mistreated). These animals have no chains, no riding them, no bathing with them. However what you will do is have half a day with them. You will feed them, be able to stroke them, make them rice nutrition balls to feed, walk in the jungle seeing them do there own thing. We have so many videos and pictures of our day and some of them walking behind us freely! An amazing experience I’ll never forget!

When we visited end of December they had 3 elephants (all rescued since Covid) and they had a new 7 year old who was yet to be able to roam free in the day, as she had only just been braught here from again being chained. She had a small injury scratch which was nearly healed after her transportation. However was a week away from being let to roam with her new family. The elephants have there sleeping shelter all next to each other and this is where she was currently kept with lots of room, where also fed her sugar canes. The elephants all have there own keeper and they live on site, these staff /company really do care for these animals and it’s shines so brightly

These animals are magnificent, peaceful and we really need to visit more places like this to help rescue more of these beautiful animals and save them.

Brilliant overall experience. We only done the 90 minute tour and still learned so much and got to witness these rescued elephants in a natural habitat and even got to feed them ! Tour guide was lovely and very informative and clearly passionate about these elephants. Definitely recommend if you are wanting an ethical experience with elephants.

My partner and I had an amazing time doing the 90 minute elephant experience. Our tour guide was fantastic and knowledgeable, and the elephants were unchained, not ridden or bathed by tourists and we had such a wonderful time watching these beautiful animals roam in their 15 acres of land which they now call home! Great reserve and also a lovely restaurant which we ate lunch at afterwards. Highly recommend!!

Probably the most ethical elephant experience you can have in Thailand. This was very important to us, and we were very happy with our choice. Our group only consisted of 2 couples. We fed the elephants, got to know about their history, and the natural habits/characteristics. The elephants here seem very happy, and we were very happy to support. The guides are kind, and taught us a lot during our tour. After feeding, you walk a path with them, and have plenty of photo opportunities. You then get to watch the elephants take a water and mud bath. A large section of the half day tour is viewing the elephants, and this is best to not stress them out. There is food, and souvenirs available in the main hunt after. Would do again, and recommend to anyone.

Incredible experience. Highly recommend visiting here. The elephants are happy and the keepers interact very little, leaving the elephants to do their own thing and roam free. You can feed and walk with the elephants as they eat. So cool!

So this place was absolutely fan freaking tastic. I can't say enough about this experience. We ended up not having anyone with us so it was like a private tour. We got to interact with the elephants and feed them, touch them, see them walk in the forest and eat what they wanted. We got to watch them bathe and play in the mud. We also were able to help cook their food which then was sent to them well we sat there and interacted and took pictures. It was an overall amazing experience. The guide was patient and explained everything as we went, answering all of our questions and going out of his way to make the experience as wonderful as could be for our daughter. The trainer came with us for each elephant that we interacted with so that there was no point that we felt like we were in danger and we also didn't do anything stupid that put the elephant at risk either. It was really nice to have both the tour guide and the elephant trainer with us to make sure everything was going well. At one point we also interacted with a manager who was super nice and answered questions as well. At the end was a great lunch that they cooked through a cooking demonstration that you were able to help make and was really yummy food. We had spring rolls, pad Thai and Tom yum soup, which was all included in the package. If you're on the fence about this, do it You will not regret it.
