Phu chi fa viewing point- car park

This is an exciting viewpoint from which one can see a nearest Laos village as shown in the photo. The roadway up to the parking lot is very well maintained, and a short (~760m) walk up from the parking lot will bring you to this viewpoint. Better to walk on a dry day since the foot path can be slippery if it is wet.

Amazing and unforgettable experience up at Phu Chi Fa. We saw the sunset and then the sunrise the next morning.

We went in high season so it was super super busy during sunrise (literally hundreds of people), so it's definitely worth checking out the sunset as it's much less crowded. Another plus of viewing at sunset is there's no morning fog, which means you can see the nearby Laos village in the valley. We were also able to just make out the Mekong River from the viewpoint!

A final tip for sunrise viewing. We were unable to take our motorbikes up to the carpark, as it was high season - too many bikes which would have been unsafe to descend after the sunrise viewing. We parked our bikes at the bottom and were able to take a songthaew up quite easily.

One of the best (if not best) views in Thailand!!

Beautiful landscape, quiet roads, friendly locals, a must-do if you are on a cycling trip in Thailand.

Perfect for getting up there with a scooter. Good roads with stunning views over the hills. Phu chi fah peak is gorgeous! Breathtaking view over Laos on one side and Thayland on the other!

Just the top point of Phu Chi Fa, to go to the View Point, need to walk another 700m. Shops here sells most same things Phu Chi Fa. Toilet available near the parking lots actually everything i.e. shops, eating stalls (probably just 2 or 3) parking is nearby. Its just need to walk another 700m+ to the actual viewpoint.

This place is either badly named or google map is wrong. We drove to this destination using Google map and there was definitely no carpark and of course, no view. . Instead Google map led us to a very cluttered area with very narrow path between assorted dwellings which wasn't meant for cars. A less skilled driver would be left stranded because it was extremely difficult to manoeuvre out from the tight spot we were in. We then drove to a place that was more accurately named ie Phu Chi Fa base.
