Seatran Ferry

The journey seems to be so short. Big ferry with convenience store to a feet massage centre, simply awesome. But what is outside is simply stunning. About an hour and half of this extremely comfortable boat journey passes through the coastlines and horizon dotted with small and big islands. The changing colours of the water and the sky leave you breathless. The mountains on those islands (frankly could differentiate much between the main land and the islands other than just a couple. The ferry has a really comfortable sitting area with very large seating and air conditioning; but you know what? I would suggest the top deck. It certainly is warmer, but the sea breeze and the beauty is no match to the comfort

Excellent service from centre of Surat Thani . Bus and ferry ticket is combined and operated by same company so no confusion. Just 310 Thai baht .

Seatran is best ferry if you want to travel from Surat Thani to Koh Samui and Koh Phangan and vice versa. They have a high class air condition and a normal cabin. Washrooms are too good and have a big mart inside the ferry. I used the Raja ferry as well. But seatran is too good as compared to Raja ferry. Highly recommended to use this ferry.

Very positive experience and gets better each time. Staff were excellent and the guys even helped with my big luggage. Relaxing experience and many different types of seating areas. They also have nice quiet massage area and a small shop with convenient store type items at attractive prices. Air conditioning and out side seating as well. In the right weather and the right timing you can really experience some amazing views. Book cars in advance but can always walk on no problem...

Best choice for a transfer to Samui. Boats are in a good condition and all without any big delays as well. At the pier are restaurants and mini markets available.

No complaints ! Generally clean... Usually on time, although weather conditions may cause delays... Vehicle ferry goes to Nathon Samui. About a 1.5 hour ride.

Well, that was a surprisingly smooth and good experience !

Used Seatran services from Surat Thani to Koh Samui (Nanthon pier) today. For 400 THB/person we got a smooth transfer in a nice minivan from URT airport (about 1h-1h30min) to Don Sak pier, then left at 2pm to Nanthon pier (1h30min ferry). The boat was in a good condition and the journey was enjoyable. All good !

You can eat while waiting your ferry with a few cantina-style restaurants, buy some snacks, get a coffee... The toilets were clean.

If you buy your ticket at the cashier it is all straightforward. If you booked online via 3rd-party website (12Go...) you will have to exchange your voucher for a card.

If you wanna go to Samui, Phangan by bike, car or by yourself this is right place to get ticket and traveling around!
