Wonderful place to spend a few hours - for me it was on the way from Tozeur to Matmata. I spent almost two hours here climbing around and taking many photos. It was really busy with the market going on but was so much fun.

It’s a beautiful and nature canyon that is really stunning. If you’re wanting to see where Star Wars was filmed, park in the parking lot and walk into the canyon on the left. There is a good bit of trash and old camp fires, but after 100 meters it becomes clean. The building at the top of the hill is a shrine for a saint. Parking is easy, it wasn’t crowded when we went but we went outside of tourist season. Not much elevation change which makes for an easy hike into the canyon. Good for kids too.

Total peace. Hard to get to without a car. (Have a taxi take you round-trip.) Just us and the sheep hearder in the canyon.

I haven’t put my feet down in Sidi Bouhlel Canyon yet, but I flew over it and that was awesome. 😄

Havre de paix, très beau sentier de randonnée qui au départ est pollué mais qui par la suite devient un sol argileux, remplis de coquillages fossilisés, de 10km au total. Le chemin est balisé jusqu'au poteaux ci dessous, nous n'avons trouvé aucune balise par la suite et un panneau était brûlé, nous avons donc décidé de faire demi tour...

Un mini-canyon intéressant à voir (loin des touristes). Pas très difficile pour le faire.
Aussi possible de visiter le marabou en haut de la colline avec jolie vue panoramique.
