ENFIDAVILLE WAR CEMETERY

Took some finding as we went by train.no taxis in enfida knocking about so we set off on foot . After around an hour we came to a school .so I went in language was now an issue .trying to explain was a nightmare but we got there by me drawing grave stones in a row on a piece of paper at the school office !!! So we then had a local escort us to within metres of cemetery.we paid our respects and treated the grounds keeper as always very well maintained.now the challenge was getting back to sousse.we set off back towards the town centre only to find no bus and the train was due in 6 hours wait . We sat down at a coffee bar and was told to go to louarge station ( minl bus) via hand signals and me nodding and smiling. We found it quite quickly
. Went to the booking hatch and 10 mins later we set off 3 dinars each (75p) got into sousse 40 mins later and a went for a few cool ones in the claridge hotel........just like ice cold in Alex!!!!

Went last year while on holiday the cemetery is kept beautifully and all the graves are in great condition , spent about 2 hours there reading the graves so many young boys that had died it was heartbreaking we truly hold a debt of gratitude to them may they all Rest In Peace !! 💙
