HOOM

I was looking for place that made me feel how it would be to really live in Zanzibar and very different from "hotel" stay, I found this in Hoom! I absolutely loved it, big home with Hans & Lisa being the owners and we're family guests ❤ the only struggle was AC but I went in the very hot busy season so it's more than normal. The land, the near beach, the pool, the green scenery, the outdoor seating and rooftop view👌 😎 I loved that you can cook your own food if you wanted or inform them what you wanted to eat. Was overall exactly like having a home there in zanzi & I will be back in the cooler months.

Spacious rooms on a peaceful location. Clean and the staff is super cool and welcoming

The staff and owners are all very nice. It was a pleasure to share our Zanzibar experience with them! If you visit HOOM I can recommend you to eat breakfast there it is very tasty.

Hoom is a place which by name, in its concept speaks for itself. The moment i arrived here i tasted a vibe of calmness, familiarity and safeness. Hoom is suited in Bwejuu and at a 3 min walk to the beach. It has everything to offer an experience of relaxation and serenity. I have noticed it is very child friendly too, because its a “smaller” hoten than the usual places in zanzibar. But the experience is on another level nonetheless. Hans and Lisa are two caring hosts who will do their best to provide in any aspect of your wishes.

Theres a swimming pool, a lovely lounge where u can relax and play card/boardgames and an open kitchen for conveniences. The rooms are quite comfortable and being kept clean and tide. There’s airconditioning, a fridge and warm shower water.

Definitely coming back !

Hans and Lisa as owners are not just owners but truly great hosts! Their idea behind HOOM was to create a place where you feel like home!
They definitely made us feel like home!

The place is a little bit far from the city center but therefore super quiet and just beautiful!

Occasionally you will get a visit from some monkeys, look out for them!

The shared kitchen and big living area makes shared meals between guests and the hosts possible!

Rooms & pool are super clean and taken care of a daily basis.

Hans and Lisa definitely created a little paradise here.

We had an electricity breakdown but beside this, the staff was very pleasant and everything was great.

Very quiet

Nous avons réservé dans cet établissement pour une nuit et vu la qualité de l'hébergement, nous avons décidé de passer les 4 derniers jours de notre voyage à Zanzibar.
Les chambres sont très spacieuses, extrêmement propres et très calmes.
Elles sont bien équipées et nous avions même une vue sur la mer depuis notre balcon.
C'est une petite structure et on s'y sent presque que comme si l'on était invité dans la maison d'un ami.
Il y a une jolie piscine pour se baigner pendant les heures où la marée est basse.
Les jeunes femmes du staff et de la cuisine étaient vraiment gentilles, serviables, attentionnées et tellement souriantes qu'elles ont vraiment contribué à ce que notre séjour soit un super souvenir.
La nourriture était délicieuse, très copieuse et vraiment pas chère.
La plage à 200m était jolie et pour l'un des meilleurs spots de snorkeling de l'île, le Blue Lagoon se trouve à quelques minutes de voiture ou de bateau.
Petite information, même à marée basse, il est possible de se baigner dans une eau turquoise splendide et de voir des poissons sur la plage située quelques kilomètres au nord de Hoom, entre l'hôtel Sultan Palace et l'hôtel Dongwe Club.
Pour le snorkeling sans passer par un bateau, au même endroit il y a le restaurant Dongwe Beach.
Il suffit de prendre la passerelle en bois jusqu'au restaurant (personne ne vous demandera quoi que ce soit) descendre l'escalier et explorer les lieux sous le restaurant lui-même ou nager jusqu'au petit récif qui se trouve à un vingtaine de mètre à gauche du restaurant (quand on regarde vers l'horizon)
Vous l'aurez compris, nous avons adoré l'endroit et si vous cherchez le top à un prix génial, c'est vraiment l'endroit rêvé pour des souvenirs inoubliables

Гостинне та затишне місце. Власники разом з працівниками намагаються зробити максимум для комфортного відпочинку гостей. На відміну від багатьох місцевих отелей, тут ви відчуваєте, що вам хочуть щось надати, а не отримати з вас гроші на кожному кроці.
Не всі навігаційні програми коректно показують розташування і маршрут до HOOM. Рухаючись трасою від клумби PAJE, виглядайте праворуч табличку HOOM.
До пляжа 5 хвилин пішки.
