Sahari Zanzibar

We spent ten blissful days at Sahari. It was absolutely amazing! The hospitality we received from the very beginning (our flight arrived late and they kept the kitchen open to serve us dinner when we arrived) was exemplary, and continued to be throughout our stay. The facilities are beautiful, the food is excellent, and most of all, you are made to feel like family whilst you are there! Manager George dealt with multiple island-wide power issues very effectively. Christine immediately made us feel welcomed. J4, Amos, Devis, John, and Steven all made our time more enjoyable. Michelangelo and Said also arranged a wonderful snorkeling trip for us. We would recommend Sahari to anyone looking for a lovely, low key beach getaway!

During the Easter weekend I stayed at Sahari and what a exceptional stay it was. I'm surprised the boutique hotel has 3 stars since the staff service and overall vibe is worth so much more!

The rooms are clean and quiet during the night. The temperature inside is comfortable and easily adjustatble through a fan and AC. Ensuite bathrooms are also clean and in good condition. Warm water and pressure were always present. Also plenty of drinking water available within the roooms.

Outside around the pool area everything is well maintained. Plants and trees are beautifully arranged and lots of private spots to take a nap or relax in the pleasant sunloungers. Walking from the room and passing the poolside area, the restaurant is beachfront and comes with a beautiful view. Also around the beach

The staff in and around the kitchen and restaurant is again exactly how it should be. Service is quick and solid. All the staff is friendly, happy, attentive, hopsitable. Food is good and very tasty and the menu offers a wide variety.

I could keep on writing but in a nutshell my experience is 5/5! All the ingredients for a happy holiday!

We had a great experience at Sahari hotel!

The staff is amazing, especially Hasan (our guide for excursions). He was so kind and patient! He recommended all of the trips, the schedules. Also he was available for us immediately!

A well formed team. At the entrance, Edina and Cristina are waiting for you at the reception with a smile on their lips at any time and with any necessary information. Then the Gino Turtle (tooth) is in the alley to say welcome to SAHARI. The rooms are sufficiently attractive and comfortable - considering the continent of Africa itself - the stars being the chairs on the balconies. Shower, air conditioning, fan, safe and a bed with an excellent mattress. On the terrace, the team of waiters is very helpful and willing at any time. And finally the kitchen with Mr. head chef TIMO is the pearl of the location. There is no meal served without excellence in taste and presentation. Then the beach with specific sand - with high tide and low tide of 2 km in the sea is superb. Let's not forget the fact that there is a maintenance team that repairs anything in a relatively short time. The guard is present at the entrance and exit to the beach to keep away the itinerant sellers who are so annoying during vacations all over the world. Otherwise, Hakuna Matata and the indispensable Pole - Pole is the speed of the entire continent.

Amazing place, amazing staff & amazing food. I loved every corner of this place, it's so relaxing and beautiful here. The food topped my experience here. We tried almost everything in their menu and everything was perfect. The manager went out of his way to make us feel confortable from the moment we arrived till the time we left. Can't wait to come back to this place! 💚🖤💙

We stayed at sahari hotel from December 24th-29th 2023.
From the moment we arrived we felt instantly relaxed.
Every corner of the hotel is beautiful, every staff member is accommodating and friendly.
The food was delicious and fresh.We highlight recommend the octopus dish.
A special mention to devis our waiter and George the manager, nothing was ever too much for these guys.

We had a brilliant stay at Sahari on our honeymoon.

Facilities/location: the resort is right on the beach in Bajduu, just north of Paje. There is an incredible pool courtyard with a variety of lounging options, all of which are super relaxing. You can be in the sea and then in the pool within 20 meters at high tide. Also, there is unlimited free drinking water at the hotel which is a huge plus.

Restaurant: a very wide menu and all delicious. We didn’t have a single dish that wasn’t delicious during our stay, and all reasonably priced. The seafood platter for 2 was in particular very good, as were the cocktails. A huge plus if you want to spend a day or two chilling at the hotel rather than venturing out.

Staff: Sahari really excels here. From the moment we stepped in the door the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They knew our names and were all great hosts, from front desk to the bar staff. They went above and beyond to make our honeymoon a special and memorable experience, including a candle lite dinner on the beach.

Rooms: we had one of the beach view rooms which had a lovely balcony with seating area looking right over the beach. See photo attached. The bathroom was modern and the rooms had a safe, fridge snd aircon (although sometimes took a while to cool down the room). Very comfortable beds, and turn down service.

Activities: we had brilliant massages and also did a great snorkelling, dolphin and seafood lunch trio with Michaelagelo tours organised through the hotel.

A great hotel with a great staff and team, very professional and warmful ! The hotel is beautiful very well designed. We had a very happy stay.
Also notice that the chef cook prepares very good meals fresh and tasty. The pool is surrounded by a magnificient garden.
The hotel provides also excursions with a tour operator partner which gave us a lot of satisfaction. If you want to discover the spirit of Zanzibar, that’s the place to be.

Amazing location, right on the beach. The hotel has a lovely relaxed atmosphere, mainly due to the very friendly staff. If you want to unwind this is the place to come. We will absolutely be coming back.

The staff at Sahari is simply amazing! Stayed there for four nights and absolutely loved it! The hotell is very beautiful, the staff will make you feel like at home and the food is fantastic!
There is a low tide, which means you will not be able to swim in the ocean for couple of hours but I used that time to go exploring neighbouring cities.

The hotel is very nice in terms of location and staff friendliness. The restaurant offers good food. I especially liked the fact that they are using glass water bottles you can refill whenever you want. We went there with 2 kids - 4 years old and 1.5 years old. The room was ok for us with a sofa bed and a big bed. However, people with bigger kids will need definitely 2 rooms.

There are other restaurants in the close vicinity. The pool is nice as it has a sunny area and some areas with good sun protection coming from the palm trees.

I love everything about this place . First and foremost it is the wonderful people working here… you feel like being part of a big happy family, they all chat with you and dance and smile … and everything in a very subtle way… respectful and kind, never intrusive. The entire structure is beautifully designed with a lot of attention to detail and the use of local materials . A true boutique hotel, calm and relaxed , and just a 5 min 5usd taxi drive away from busy Paje. (Or a 30min walk along the beach). What I also loved that it is the perfect mixture of being on the sand and surrounded by sand but still with walkways and proper buildings, so you don’t have sand everywhere all the time .
We came to stay 2 nights and we extended to a full week (and will definitely come back) 🤩🤩

Outstanding place - so friendly and attend staff. Very clean hotel - located on a beautiful beach. Nice and clean rooms with a beach vibe. Beautiful poolarea. Had a awsome boattrip with the localguide Michael Angelo who works at the hotel. 2 minor things - the onsite restaurant is a bit pricey but so are the other restaurants near by - and waterpressure in rooms are not always very good. We would LOVE to come back!!

Super boutique hotel with extraordinary charm, ideal location away from festive beaches. Spacious and comfortable rooms, food at the restaurant are varied (great pizzas good, seafood, local dishes) impeccable cleanliness, often careful staff. Finally the pool is too beautiful. I highly recommend for a stay of calm and peace.

The best service we've ever had! Everyone is so welcoming and helpful. The place itself is amazing. We went around to other hotels/restaurants and we were glad we picked this one. None of the surrounding accommodations matches Sahari. The location is perfect, away from busy/noisy parts but still close to all kinds of attractions you are interested in. We'll definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful time at Sahari Zanzibar.
We postponed our return flight several times to be able to stay a bit longer. The rooms are good and comfortable. Also the breakfast is very good, with a lot of choice. I enjoyed the moments with a very tasteful cappuccino. The staff is super nice and service oriented, and that goes for everybody, cleaners, security, restaurant staff, reception, manager. It is an amazing and relaxed place to be with a good atmosphere. We will definitely come back!

The room was perfect with an ocean view, the staff is always friendly and smiley. The hotel is nicer in person than on the pictures. The food is incredible, beautiful breakfast and amazing pizza. Our favourite is with frutti di mare. The owner and managers are great as well and very helpful.
Definitely staying here again next time! 💓
