Mbalageti Serengeti

Amazing experience, staff is very nice, rooms are big, comfortable, luxurious, fully equipped and furnished. The only issue is that it can get VERY hot in the room during the night (we visited in August). Highly recommended.

One of the best experiences me and my family had. The staff is so friendly best I have ever seen in all my years of traveling. The location is perfect sitting right on top of a small mountain/hill, one time we came home to the hotel and there was zebras and baboons sitting right next to us not scared and not running away. The rooms were excellent really roomy and the bathroom was nearly as big as the entire bedroom. However, I wish there was Wi-Fi in the rooms but I noticed that no hotels here have in room Wi-Fi so it’s fine. Something special I want to add is that we met the owner of the hotel and he is a really honest and kind person he literally made our entire trip happen he planned everything for us and he went as far as calling people he knows to get that done. Definitely a 10/10 experience.

One of the best hotels to spend a marvelous days in nature, you will stay in the middle of Serengeti national park and you will wake up seeing the best wild life view! Food is perfect natural and organic. Sunrise is a masterpiece! Bird watching is a must there .. we enjoyed the pool and observing zebras.. a dream came true !

Only stayed there for 1 night and arrived late but the place is amazing.
Breakfast at 6:30am while watching the sunrise is so worth it!

Picturesque views for sunrise and sunset with roaming zebras and wildebeest. The pool is such a treat in the Serengeti! Fabulous service. Unfortunately they were not as accommodating for our guide. They charged a hefty extra fee for him to eat with us.

Amazing Experience

Endroit absolument incroyable, un des meilleurs hôtels pour réaliser un magnifique safari au milieu du parc Serengeti. Sa distance (2h de route du centre du parc) en fait une excellente qualité : en plein mois d’août avec sa ruée de touristes, nous étions tous seuls dans la savane à explorer en toute tranquillité la faune.
La vue sur la savane à partir de l’hôtel est magnifique, les chambres sont spacieuses et très confortables et le personnel d’une grande gentillesse est aux petits soins pour vous satisfaire au maximum.
Nous recommandons fortement cet endroit à toute personne qui souhaite passer du bon temps dans le parc.

Eine wunderschöne lodge in der serengeti. Das Service top, die lunchbox total in Ordnung. Die lodge besticht durch ihren Ausblick, egal ob vom Zimmer oder vom Lokal. Beim Frühstück schon Gazellen und hyänen beobachten zu können ist einfach ein Traum.
Der einzige Wermutstropfen, wenn man von Seiten ngorogoro kommt, liegt die lodge etwas weiter westlich, was die Anfahrtszeit etwas erhöht.

We hadden 4 nachten in deze lodge geboekt en het was zeker de moeite waard. Een uniek kader met prachtig zicht op de savanne waarbij de dieren tot dicht en zelfs in de lodge kwamen. De maaltijden waren van zeer goede kwaliteit en zeer afwisselend. De prijzen van de dranken waren zeker heel schappelijk. De staf was super vriendelijk en zeer behulpzaam en je kon altijd bij de manager terecht voor allerhande informatie. Bedankt aan de hele staf voor deze unieke ervaring.

Hotel precioso, tanto por la decoración como por la ubicación en pleno parque Nacional de Serengeti. Ambiente tranquilo y acogedor Servicio excelente y muy atentos. Muy muy muy muy recomendable.

Great location at the top of a mount within Serengeti. View from the restaurant is incredible. Individual lodges are well spread out, so you have to walk more than usual to get to reception or the restaurant. When dark, Maasai warriors walk you to the restaurant/reception. It is common to see wildlife around the lodge (I witnessed zebras). The individual lodges are decent, with a mosquito net bed; showers are pretty good. Buffet at the restaurant was wonderful, with salads, hot dishes, a live cooking station, soups and desserts. Wifi is basically non-existent, as you can expect in the middle of the Serengeti. It's a great place to stay when exploring the Serengeti.
