Sunshine mangrove restaurant

By far the highlight of all culinary experiences in Zanzibar. For quality food seekers - highly recommended. On the way back from a short boat tour around the mangroves, we got dropped off at this lovely restaurant. At high tide it can only be approached by boat and low tide it is accessible by walk. They set up the table for us with the view of the sunset, cut the coconuts in front of us and cooked the freshest fish available. The grilled calamari and octopus was incredibly tender and the salad on the side was really well spiced. My friend got a vegan curry which was also top notch taste and consistency-wise.
