El Corral Mexican Restaurant- Alma

Beautiful inside. Wonderful service. Amazing food. We had the chicken and steak Lambres. Very clean. Margarita blended original flavor delicious. They make them well. Highly recommended.

I ran across this restaurant by a accident. Located in Alma Kansas. The outside entrance doesn't give credit for whats inside. Beautiful decor flavored with Hispanic culture and has plenty of room for lots of customers and also has an outside deck. The food is fantastic and service is impressive. Our waiter brought us a special Salsa they make that is just a tad bit warm. This would be worth the drive no matter where you are from. We are definitely coming back. They also have a location in St.Marys Kansas.

Sooo this is by far the best Mexican restaurant in the US.

The fajitas are the best and coming with rice beans and avocado.

Had Fajitas Jalisco and Alambres Chicken Fajitas, both were super yummy. Serving size was large as we had enough to take home for a meal the next day. Wait staff provided excellent service.

It's an easy place to miss, we have for the last few years. Stopped here for mother's Day and was not disappointed. Food was excellent and so was the service. Will be back.

Had the el pastor tacos with a side of refried beans and it was delicious. Great little place.

I'll tell you what, the Fajita Burrito (steak) is off the hook delicious!!! Modelo beers go down smooth, too!!!

Better than every Mexican restaurant in Topeka. Low prices, friendly, fast service, and generous servings. The beef tacos are loaded with meat and fixings. Creamy refried beans that are the best. Worth the drive to this pretty restaurant.

We stopped there for the first time after we left the pumpkin patch north of town. Fast service, chips and salsa and cheese dip were fresh, food came out very quickly and everything was delicious. Easy to tell that most everything is made from scratch. The homemade hot sauce was quite hot but also had great taste. Great stop for lunch on the way out of town.

Passing through and was not disappointed at all. My husband said the con queso was the best he ever had. Everything we ordered was delish. Complimentary hot chips and salsa were great too. Will stop again next time we come through.

I love that families are welcomed with smiling faces. My beef enchilada was delicious. The staff are prompt despite little ones occasionally racing to the bathroom darn near between their feet.
Im recommending this as family friendly.
The Good food is a bonus.

Very good fajitas and cheesedip. We shared and still had a meal to take home. We are considering driving from Fort Riley to always eat here!

5 stars based on my take out experience. We got lunch here on Tuesday and Wednesday. Fast and friendly, Chimichanga looked and tasted great. Size and price were right! Will remember this gem and come again.

I started visiting this Restaurant while I was still Driving Trucks.

They are a local establishment that I enjoy eating at when I can.

Prices are fair. FOOD is Great.
I normally have to take a to box because of the size of most of their meals.

Alma, KS is a small town. My Wife and I were there to visit an event space outside of town. We were hungry and followed up on a recommendation to eat at El Corral. We were both very happy with the resulting meal.

My Wife ordered the Vegetarian Burrito. It was perfect. I ordered Tacos with a tomatillo salsa. It was also perfectly prepared and seasoned. I reluctantly left a small amount of my 3 tacos.

We'll be back!

Warm chips, fresh delicious queso, clean restaurant and neatly dressed and polite staff! What more could you want?! We will definitely be back. My husband bought a popsicle like dessert on the way out and he is raving about them.

Alma has a real gem of a Mexican restaurant here. I ordered the lunch chimmichanga. Served fresh and hot with rice, refried beans, sour cream, guacamole, lettuce and pico on the side. Very generous portions. Reasonable prices. Friendly staff. We'll definitely be back soon! Be sure to visit if you are visiting Alma, live in the area, or are just passing through. Worth the brief detour off I70.

Convenient parking, open when I wanted to eat, the menu had a good variety of options at reasonable prices, our orders arrived promptly and the food was really good! I'm looking forward to another visit.

Tucked away in Alma, this place doesn't look like much in the outside, but inside it is a burst of color! The food is quite good, the staff are friendly and attentive and the prices are reasonable. Highly recommend if you are out that way!
