Veteran's Memorial Lake

Very peaceful. Plenty of shade, beautiful views, lots of wild flowers.

Take the boys to Veterans Lake to try out the new kayaks and they had a blast. They tried fishing too but I think it was a little cold for fish...

You can always catch some kitties at this pond. Always.

Beautiful place to walk, run, bike, fish, kayak and many other things. The city has been working hard to make it easier to access for all.

Very nice trail during the sunset 🌇 only 25-45 mins to walk it. Will be back

Not a favorite fishing spot but real easy access to water. Seem to catch at least 1 each trip but have never tried for much over an hour. 2 bass 2 crappie all small but fun to catch.

Great place to walk for exercise and to bike. Paved walkway easy to walk 3 abreast. Close to a mile around the pond or walk the dike which is cement and is 4.5 miles one way

I went one night it was pretty cold but the place was clean there were no bottles left laying around on the ground so I say it was a good experience

Nice little lake. Walk track around it connects to larger hike/bike/walk path. Nice place to fish and run.

I watched the sunset& the trees on the west bank perfectly cast to the water...beautiful&tranquil. The ducks&geese are in abundance, enjoyed them too.

A wonderful place to walk, run, feed the ducks and socialize. I also see people riding bikes and walking their dogs.
