A group of us took a Windstar charter coach to Council Bluffs to visit the Dodge House. Our driver, Jen, was excellent! Professional, courteous and fun. She navigated narrow streets with construction with ease. Highly recommend Windstar!

We used windstar to transport about 150 wedding guests to our reception venue. Kelsey was great to work with leading up the event, and assuaged our concerns about some last minute changes made to our service. The buses were timely and very comfortable and clean. The drivers were very friendly. Overall, it was a very positive experience.

Windstar Lines is one of the best companies I have worked with. As a Tour Manager I could not have asked for a more professional group of drivers. Always had the students in mind and making their trip the best.

Had a great day trip. Finding the Cyclone coach waiting in the parking lot just made the day perfect! Honks and waves the whole day. Our driver was great. He had never driven on a day trip in Iowa. Not being from the USA he learned a lot about the people of Iowa too. Thanks for making our trip extra special. I’d gladly take the Cyclone coach every time!

As a seasoned Tour Coordinator for a domestic tour company, I can state that Windstar Lines is tops and one driver, in particular, is an exceptional ambassador for the company. His name is Tom, and he is one of the finest Coach Drivers that I have ever experienced in 30+ years of working in tourism. Kind, funny, compassionate, and totally skillful --- Windstar is fortunate to have such a wonderful member of its team!

I have used Windstar lines of Des Moines for several company trips. Jeff and the staff have been wonderful to work with. Very professional and accurate. The drivers have all been very reliable and helpful. When we need bus lines outside of Des Moines, Jeff has been a great resource in recommending other companies to us. We took our first trip with Windstar. Everyone I dealt with was so helpful. Our driver was amazing. We have already booked our next trip with them and have requested the same driver. The bus we had was in top condition. So much better than other companies I have used.

We had a 21 passenger mini bus for our wedding to shuttle guests to and from our wedding venue. Our bus drive, Barry, was awesome and a delight. He was so good and was on time to every place we asked him to be that day. We definitely recommend Windstar lines to anyone who needs a shuttle!!

Ron Young was our Windstar driver on our annual summer school trip to Yellowstone National Park. The group was accompanied by a second vehicle that hauled the group's food supplies. Unfortunately, that vehicle was in an accident making it unable to continue the trip. That evening, after the group reached its destination, Ron drove back many miles to help get the needed food supplies. Ron is also a retired educator. On this trip we had students that needed a great deal of help with their required assignments. Ron quickly noticed their need for assistance and spent many hours of his personal time working with those students. This made the trip much more enjoyable for them and his assistance was greatly appreciated by the school staff. Ron Young is a real credit to Windstar and the service it provides. Windstar was a great experience for me and my group. They were extremely accommodating, flexible and friendly. I was blown away by the customer service provided throughout the planning of the trip all the way through the very end. We will definitely be using Windstar again in the future!

Tom Perdue, our recent driver went above and beyond on a recent trip. We were driving up the interstate to Mason City IA when we encountered an overturned semi. It delayed us for over an hour, but Tom kept us safe and informed. There were very high winds that day, but Tom maintained a safe ride for myself and my 41 passengers .
Then that same trip we had a passenger had a medical emergency. She was taken by ambulance. Tom drove her friend and our other leader to the hospital, continued with my other passengers on our itinerary. Came back and got the gals. All in all Tom was very professional and one of Windstars TOP drivers, Hats off to him Sandi Austin, Tour leader, Welcome Aboard, Tour Service, Ames IA

We had the pleasure of having Ed as our bus driver on a college visit to the University of Northern Iowa. Ed was so pleasant and accommodating to our students and adults (55 total ) that attended. We also really appreciated how prompt he was in dropping us off and in picking us up.
