Super nice folks. I'vs had the same carrier for nearly 10 years. The service is friendly and reliable. No worries when important packages arrive.

The Post Master and others that work there are amazing. And at Christmas they set up a Letters to Santa mailbox and repond.
Small town doesn't get any better than this!

They were closed from 1-2 for lunch, but I just wanted a hold mail card submitted.

Employees are unprofessional and rude. Postal driver couldn’t be bothered to get out of this vehicle to request a signature for a package, just marked it as person unavailable. I was in my house, and received the notification shortly after he left. I called the post office location, and was met with a very rude employee whom not only argued with me, but proceeded to hang up on me before I could make arrangements to pick up my package, as I wouldn’t be at my residence the next business day. I had to leave work to go pick up my package, upon arrival I spoke to the manager whom seemed very unconcerned with my issue. Overall, customer service was horrible, and retrained is required across the board. Unfortunately, I was not able to choose my delivery service, or I would have chosen UPS.

My business is located at 500 EAST Main Street and this is the second time mail has been delivered to my location that is addressed to 500 WEST Main Street which conveniently is the county court house. It’s not like I’m receiving someone’s junk mail, these are what I assume are important, time sensitive documents. The postal woman flies through the location so fast it is impossible for anyone to let her know she has made a delivery mistake. I am, thankfully, a good and honest person so I go out of my way to hand deliver this mail to the court house, however this is not my job or responsibility. The first time this occurred, I wrote it off as a simple mistake. However this is the second instance this has happened, I will once again hand deliver this, but it this continues to happen these documents will remain undelivered, and that will be a fault of the USPS. Overall, interaction with the anamosa location and its employees has been horrible; and left a bad taste in my mouth for the whole service. It is clear upper management needs to make a personal visit to this location and retrain everyone from the post master down the the delivery drivers, as the customer service is the worst I’ve seen.

horrible. didn’t even deliver my packages and said “no delivery access” when they clearly could have walked around the snow on the sidewalk to my doorstep. I’m beyond disappointed. Lazy service
