We went to visit and unfortunately the house is being renovated inside and it's only open from May until September I think. Can't remember what the sign said now. But the nature trail and the views were AMAZING!!

A really wonderful experience. We went for Pioneer Days, which was fun! We did the house tour and the guide was fantastic. She was a great storyteller and when we got to the basement where the slaves were hid... just wow.

My family & I visited the Hitchcock House & Lewis this past weekend. The ladies were very welcoming. Margaret, the tour guide was very thorough and the tour was about an hour long. I got emotional just hearing the stories of what the slaves had to endure on their journey to freedom & those that helped them. Didn't know much about the underground railroad before this... thank you for the wonderful opportunity to learn more about it.
