This place was OUTSTANDING! Two floors of model homes, barns, store, school, and many other things. Exceptional works of art! A must see.

What an incredible visit to the Mini Americana Barn Museum. The miniature models are true works of art, and so lovingly displayed in an old barn, the whole thing could not be more perfect and charming. Peppered with lots of detail and information about their creator and family, it was a fascinating and moving look at Amana and farm life. True craftsmanship! We were greeted by the son of the woodworker responsible for these incredible models and as we left he gave us wonderful insights, stories, and information for the rest of our day in Amana. A must visit!

A unique gem in the middle of Amana Villages area. The creator's son runs the museum in an historic Amana barn. There are many dioramas of pioneer, farming, community life. Only $3 per adult. Worth the stop!!

The Barn Museum was extremely interesting. The amount of history that has been created and is stored in that barn is amazing. The Barn is filled with replica buildings that tell the history of Amana. This is a true hidden gem.

Definitely worth the small side trip if you're visiting Amana.
Many 1/12 scale models to see, incredible attention to detail.

This museum is a must see if you come to see the Amana Colonies! Throughly enjoyed walking thru the exhibits.
