Pismo Fish and Chips

Jose was our server and he was amazing! We had the “World Famous Chowder”. My mom and I have traveled 2100 miles tasting chowder in northern Ca this chowder is the best in ALL of California. We went back the next morning to bring it home with us. This is the best spot for dinner in Pismo. I also had the crab Louie and shrimp salad OMG amazing! Mom had the lobster roll Sandi and it was huge and great price. Nice chunks of lobster. I will spread the word about this spot! It’s a must have when visiting Pismo Beach,Ca

The food was delicious and people were very friendly. We asked a bowl with a hot water to warm up the formula for our child and they kindly helped us with it.
The portion of the food is also good. I highly recommend this place!

Pismo Fish & Chips was amazing.

After a long day at work it was just the place to relax and unwind.

The service was outstanding, and huge thanks to my server LYNETTE, she was a real sweet heart and took care of my dinner for me, she was also super attentive and helpful with making drinking & eating recommendations.

Definitely see why this place has so many 5 star reviews.

Also the Halibut Tacos had the most delicious chipotle sauce and such good portions.

Delicious & nutritious fish basically a few blocks from the beach.

What a beautiful way to end the day. Also had some Solvang mural’s and fish tanks that really tied the place together.

What a wonderful meal! The clam chowder and Fish & Chips lived up to its fame. The Cod was particularly delicious and filling.

A special shout-out to Lynnette who went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and to our liking.

I had the clam chowder in a bread bowl, and it was the best I ever had. If you love clam chowder, you have to try this place.

Awesome selection of fish & seafood. Originally made plans for a place on the boardwalk, but upon passing by and seeing the menu in the window, changed my mind. Glad I did.

I oerdered Lobster Cocktail, Blackened Sea Bass and Strawberry Shortcake. All super tasty. Service was on-point. I'm coming back if I find myself in Pismo Beach again. Good stuff!

We come here every time we come to Pismo, sometimes multiple times in the trip!Great food, great Service! The place is a very relaxing environment. Fish tacos and Clam Chowder are amazing. Walking distance from Pismo Coast Village. We have never had a bad experience. We always Asked for Juan he’s been great to us every time! We will be back.

Simplified review. Food was good. Not special. Not bad. Customer service no issues. Ambience is beach side. Fish and chips you don't get much for what you pay for but it's good. Water is free. Value overall it's expensive. You're paying tourist price.

going thru the town and decided to stay the night and have dinner. Googled this place and turns out it's a great place to eat!

Went with my family, and the staff was very friendly! Really close to the beach so we just walked our way there when we got hungry! They have options for kids, and our food was brought out very quickly even though there were other customers! Food was hot, fresh, and delicious!

Went with My Brothers. Enjoyed the fish tacos could of had more fish in it but it was pretty good. Waitress was Great . Forgot my phone when we left . Came back and had it ready for me as soon they saw me. I apologize I forgot to leave a tip . Hopefully next time I can make it up. Grateful Joe J.

Never a bad meal. Great Service. Clam Chowder is always fresh and hot. Bread bowl is good size and the way they toast the inside of the bread that they pull out for the bowl is a perfect touch to the meal.

Food & service was great. Our family had the clam chowder bowl, fish & chips, chicken strips & the fried scallops. It was all delicious. This is always a go to place for us to stop by & eat at before we leave Pismo.

My daughter and I ordered a spread. The food was so good and Whitney the waitress was great. Old school decor and the place got busy. We love Pismo Beach eateries.

My family has called this the flying Dutchman since I was just a baby. Now 27 years old and it is still one of my all time favorite restaurants of all time. The steamed clams are so delicious I just wish I could stay there and eat order after order of them all day.

They quickly acknowledged me and my partner and were very attentive. I can’t remember the waiter but he was very on point with refills and asked what we needed. Not the fanciest place but for those like myself who care more about customer service than mere looks. I’d return.

Awesome fish and chip. Large portion. Very friendly staffs. The fish and chip is crispy but not oily. Served at perfect temperature. Parking is hard to find. We had clam chowders and a large salmon. It was enough for two. About $15 per person.

Nice place close to the pier. Service was good and friendly. Got the large cod fish and chips. Perfectly fried breaded fish and fries. It was crispy. Didnt seem like there was seasoning but, there was season salt,reg salt, pepper and vinegar at the table for that. Also got the shrimp and scallop tacos. Flavor was good. Shrimp and scallops also breaded and fried. Great experience will back.

Old school ambiance with superb customer service, fresh seafood, amazing clam chowder. The fish and chips is one of the best I have had. We also had the stuffed crab that was very fresh and delicious. Don't skip this place! Highly recommended!!! I will definently visit again.
