Atwater Sushi

Always happy to stop and eat here. The sushi is consistently good. Even the specials are very well put together. Had a dragon roll, San Francisco roll and a hot Hawaiian roll special. Food was absolutely delicious. Also ordered the hot jasmine tea which paired well with the rolls. Our server was prompt, knowledgeable and very helpful. Fantastic place to stop and eat sushi. They also have outdoor seating with patio heaters for nice days and cool nights.

Food was amazing, the rolls were loaded with sauce. We ordered the grenade and sunset rolls. Prices were very reasonable, $30 for two people. I also ordered hot tea I was pleasantly surprised! It comes in a cute tea pot with matching tea cups. One of the best teas I’ve had, i still think about months later.

I just found out we have Sushi in Atwater, and it's delicious! They have to go and outdoor dining. I have tried many sushi places and this is one of the Very Best! The prices are reasonable and the staff we kind and courteous, they offered me something to drink while I waited and to carry my order to my car. So Far, Five Stars!

As of 5/22/22 they only do takeout, the employee said they were understaffed and didn't have outdoor seating either. Ordered about 5 rolls and wait time was about 25 mins. I'd recommend calling ahead just so you don't have to wait. Sushi was tasty and I got a fiesta roll, rainbow roll, and a few others i can't remember. The staff was really nice and courteous. Will definitely be coming back when I have a sushi craving and am in town. I hope they have dine in again sometime soon.😊

Quite not overly crowded restaurant had a good layout and felt way bigger then it is which was nice. I have only been there once but I would recommend it. The food did not let me down and their prices are actually pretty good. Service was pretty fast and very polite. I ordered (2) different sushi rolls and the presentation and flavor combinations where great.

Finally! A sushi restaurant opens in town. Going out of your way to get some really good sushi doesn't need to happen anymore. It's been my 3rd visit here since this place has opened and so far I have not been disappointed. Sushi is top quality and tasty, the menu is huge with the price being very fair and the staff are helpful and friendly. If you haven't been, I recommend going.

The food is always excellent. Very good tasting sushi. My only complaint is the lack of consistency with calling ahead. The phone line will go unanswered for 5-10 minutes at times.

Salmon Teriyaki was a healthy portion, cooked well with balanced Teriyaki sauce. Tempura was breaded and fried perfectly. Cali-rolls were among the best we've had even in major cities. Perfect rice and very nice servers and service.

I went for the first time on 4/13 for my birthday lunch and it was beyond good, so filling! Second time was 4/17 for takeout and again it was so good. Got the King's roll and the crab puff things. Super duper good!!!! Will be visiting again soon. 💝

I've been here a few times now and have yet to be disappointed. Great service, very helpful with any questions I had and their sushi rolls are DELICIOUS. Also loved their veggie tempura when I ordered that.

My only minor complaint is that they need to dilute their cleaning products more. when I sat down at the table, it smelled very strong of bleach lol

Atwater Sushi 🍣 is great!! The Sushi was delicious and fresh. My family was so happy with the portion and taste... The employees are very friendly and professional. Great environment!!

Atwater Sushi has many tasty and satisfying offerings. Some of our favorites are the:
*Volcano Roll …a must-have if you enjoy an abundance of crabmeat salad and crunchy tempura flakes on top of a tempura shrimp roll. Topped with unagi sauce and spicy mayo. Enough for 2!
*Sunset Roll (Torched) …for those who enjoy scallops on top of a crabmeat /tempura shrimp roll.
*Caterpillar Roll …they don’t skimp on the avocado!
*Lion King Roll … traditional and tasty
*Sides: Miso soup and/or Salad dressed with a yummy ginger dressing
For take-out, I highly recommend calling ahead, but if not your food is usually ready in 20-25 minutes, and they call you when it’s ready so you don’t have to stick around if you need to make a quick trip to SaveMart or Sonic😉

I dont know how this place doesn’t have a higher rating. Excellent food. Schyler (sp?) was a really good waiter! We had the tempura shrimp and vegetables, garlic and chili edamame (holy hell that sauce!) and the New York roll. Seriously…just left and can’t wait to come back and try so many more menu items.

Sucks that I have to put 2 stars. Sushi is 5/5, greatly priced with large portions and probably the best in the area but Im not changing my mind on 2 stars untill they reopen indoor or outdoor seating. It's just not the same having to take your sushi home especially if you live far. Word from some employees is they haven't opened dining area because staff is just lazy🤷‍♂.

UPDATE: indoor/outdoor dining is open and is now 5/5 stars prices are going up which is understandable but sad. Dylan is the best

Thank you Teresa and Johnny for the bomb-beta California rolls! Highly recommend this facility, and will be coming back often. I can only imagine taking my girl out here, and chilling on the patio after a long work week. Pick up is great for now though, and was speedy service.
