A really good coffee place with bakery. It's super affordable in price compared to Bay area. Their baristas know how to brew great coffee. The place is restored with original furniture from the previous business. It has a lot of character and history. If you're in Sutter creek, it's a must go.

Extremely friendly service, amazing coffee atmosphere, ordered two large mocha coffees came out to 17$. Larges are size pictured.
Pro is an amazing atmosphere. Coffee is so good and distinct flavor unlike Starbucks. All the options in the world for flavors.
Con is the expense and no drive thru.

What can be said about a coffee shop That provides delicious coffee and espresso drinks, dynamic customer experience, and has chocolate in its name?!? LOL. Choco latte is simply an amazing shop, family owned and operated, and staffed with the team that is passionate about customer service and quality drinks. And let me not forget about mentioning the delicious baked goods! During my first day in Sutter Creek California two months ago, I received a gift card from my now business partner who raved about this place for weeks prior to my arrival. I truly believed that he was exaggerating about the excellence and quality he had encountered at this small coffee shop in the hills of California. Much to my surprise, Choco latte with absolutely everything he told me great atmosphere clean bristling with activity, and, quite frankly, one of the best customer experiences with a small business I have ever encountered in the United States.

One of the best memories that I have of Choco latte after multiple experiences visiting the shop is that of Becky taking the time to carefully explain to me in the process of drying she was Matthew for another customer that I raise my eyebrow at. Is she noticed look on my face and took the time to ask the customer if she could take a moment and explain her drink to me, and then took the time to detail the espresso making process to me. I was shocked.

after my first visit to Chokolatte and following my move to California I’ve made it a point to return on a weekly basis with my business partner. Every visit has been as amazing as my first experience at Choco latte. Every drink, every muffin, each quiche, every truffle, and each and every encounter with staff has been stellar.

Having owned a coffee shop in the past, I know the challenges and rewards of being an owner operator and employee on the front lines of a shop like this. Every day presents a new challenge and each customer provides an opportunity to make or break the business. Management staff and owners I’ve Chokolatte go out of their way to ensure that each encounter with a customer is amazing. Every stop in but I have encountered delivery service with a smile, even though through a mask, And every order is prepared with commitment, dedication, passion, and a dash of love. I have always felt appreciated at the end my experience I Choco latte without exception.

Another thing I’ll point out about Choco latte, the decore is off the chain! from the high-end versions of all non-games such as Scrabble and chess, to the Kitch the lines the shelves, and all of the fun tea and coffee cups that invite you in, it is simply an amazing experience.

next time you are and you are in or near Amador county California, please take the time and energy to find Choco latte on Main Street and Sutter Creek. You will not be disappointed. Becky and the staff will ensure that you have a delicious drink no matter what it is, and more importantly they will make sure that you the customer feel like a rockstar while you enjoy your delicious drink.

Very cute coffee and chocolate shop! The lattes we purchased tasted great. Great way to warm up when you're out on a motorcycle ride on a cold day.

Visit every year for the Sutter Creek Ragtime festival. This is my favorite location for breakfast and lunch. Love their quiche. Ice cream and milk shakes are perfect when it is hot in summer.

Great coffee, awesome decor, and even better service. It was a gem we discovered on our way to Plymouth and are glad that we spent time there. Try their gelato - or coffee - or milkshakes - all of it is great. It is definitely not cheap - but worth the price.

After having lunch at Cavana's we wandered across the street to Choc-O-Latte. I was full from lunch but decided to buy a couple of turtles for later. I was surprised at the price for 2 pieces of candy.

Later that evening when my husband and I ate them the price was almost justified. It was one of the best pieces of candy I'd had in a long time but I still think it's pricey but not enough to keep us from getting more the next day!

I'm grateful to have Choc-O-Latte in our community. They have great drinks and food, but best of all their staff are friendly and helpful. I've also had the opportunity to sit and chat with the owners from time to time. I see some reviews here that lament the price and/or the lack of a drive-thru. This is an independent and locally-owned business. It's not Starbucks. You pay for what you get, and the quality Choc-O-Latte provides is well worth it. Also, if you're at all familiar with Sutter Creek, you'd see that a drive-thru is not at all practical.

Delicious chocolate truffles, generous portions, and wonderful ambiance. The staff is very welcoming and service-oriented.

I was wowed walking in at how cute the whole place was! I ordered a coffee cake muffin and an iced white mocha like I get anywhere. This place makes their coffee strong and perfectly sweetened. I didn’t have to ask for an added espresso shot in my drink. It was exactly how I make it at home so I was outstandingly surprised! This place is way better than Starbucks!
I got an artichoke feta egg bite quiche. Very good.
I live a little over an hour away and will definitely come back with company.

Went twice last week while in Sutter Creek. Local owned and friendly staff. Wife had a mocha and I had hot apple cider. Wife was pleased with her drink and I was surprised by a faint sweetness under the apple flavor. When asked I was told that a dollop of caramel was infused during the steaming of the drink. Nice detail. The next day we returned on our way out of town and I tried the brownie. Very reasonable price and tasty, I split it with my wife because it was so full of chocolatey goodness. Had to check our the web site when I got home and was semi disappointed that only two locations, Sutter Creek and a new one in Jackson.

What a sweet place! Good coffee, good wifi, and friendly speedy staff? It’s like a rare dream these days. 💕

Love this charming small town coffee shop in Sutter Creek! The workers are always friendly and the drinks are made to perfection! I've spent hours here catching up with friends over coffee and scones and also come to enjoy the nice atmosphere with a hot drink and good book. Perfect way to start my day when I can come in here!
