Alamosa Lamplighter Motel

We had a great experience here. Stayed for a week and enjoyed it. For an older motel the staff is amazing and the room stays cool even in the heat. The design is like a small efficency with a microwave and mini fridge, the brick wall was nice as it stopped the sound from traveling. Tv was ancient but worked. Water pressure and hot water was great. Could use an update on the bedding but other than that was a good choice for the price. Anything we had issues with was fixed quickly and they had no issues with my autistic child.

Cozy little old school place. Clean and comfortble. Good free sit down breakfast. Only problem with this stay is that the pool heater went out so pool and hot tub were out. Still great value. Not sure if I will ever be in this area again but I would stay here again.

Great place to eat after a good morning walk around the town the sites of Alamosa. Relax and enjoy a friendly meal and a walk back after to work out that amazing meal. Friendly service every time. Thanks everyone.

Old-School and Affordable ! Yes, outdated - but right in the middle of downtown, next to all the businesses. Leave your cell phones and laptops alone for a couple of days and enjoy this small town, the locals and travelers.

New OWNERS... Total top to bottom renovations. All rooms are being gutted and remodeled with new carpet, new windows, new vanities, furniture, beds, the whole nine b yards! Most importantly, the rooms are ACTUALLY CLEAN NOW!!!

Was under remodel....all amenities were down....can't really expect much from that...except was there a room, and was it clean...that's the only reason they get 5 stars...will write a review once visited after remodel

Simple, clean, quiet, and nice sized rooms. The pool area is five blocks away from the main building that we are in, but its still a good deal

The front desk attendant is very nice and helpful. They serve a delicious hot breakfast and the rooms are charming.

Friendly staff. Full breakfast provided in the adjacent restaurant. Not continental, a full on hot breakfast.

10 outta 10. Would recommend for 3 girls and their two dogs on a road trip
