Jane Schiffer was my Midwife oh choice for all 3 of my pregnancies. I have know her now for over 16 years. Due to the high level of professionalism Jane had/has I wanted no other provider.
She and the staff were exceptional in their health care services. I had some difficult situations and deliveries especially with my third delivery. Jane and the nurses were efficient, knowledgeable and compassionate. I consider Jane among the top in my experiences for Women’s health care. She goes above and beyond. Forever thankful for her and the amazing staff!

Jane Schiffer was my midwife through both of my pregnancies. She was superb and professional. She never missed a beat with anything I needed and was quick to answer any of my questions or concerns with compassion and honesty. I would have more kids just to get to be around the amazing staff and to get to have another amazing experience of pregnancy and child birth with Jane and her team again. Thank you!

so the first time my daughter was seen here by Jane, she had a procedure done that was never documented. on return visit, after insulting me repeatedly in front of a nursing student and a nurse practitioner intern (and also insulting the nurse practitioner intern by suggesting that work in a prison is somehow degrading --what jealous we make more money than you?--) Then arguing with my daughter and I for at least 10 minutes on whether or not to do the procedure we had Come in for and had scheduled over a month ago. She was trying to give advice or instruction to the in turn but didn't seem to know how the computer system worked very well herself. Was trying to just placate us and get us out of there as soon as possible even though she was the one who had already delayed my schedule by over 20 minutes after arguing with us about doing or not doing a procedure. Unfortunately this is the regular kind of care that is given in Alamosa Colorado because there are few choices and I'm sure nurse practitioners here just need to pay off their student loans in a low income area. It is sad that today no doctors nurse practitioners or medical workers in general really seem to care about their patients and it's just sad that we as patients generally put up with this kind of care.
