Our heat stopped working it was 12 degrees out ! Jeff promptly came was amazing honest and explained to me that for two year since i purchased The house i hadnt Changed the FILTER in the furnace it was stuffed with dog jair and debris ! A 4 dollar fix ! Love this guy and will be using them in the future !!!

Had a great experience!! Was having issues with my heating system, something to do with air in the pipes. Anyways he diagnosed and got my heat running properly in the same day. Jeff was very professional

I recommend Jeff 100%. His work ethic, customer service and rapid response is always appreciated. Call him.

Update 7--19-20
Jeff Senecal Jr was not working for Petra when he came out to work on my house. He falsely stated that he worked with his father (Jeff Sr of Petra Mechanical) and this review was based on the information i was provided at the time of service.
When I called Petra to report that I was having an issue with one of their employees Jeff Sr declined to speak to me. This review and any indication of Petra's involvement could have been avoided if Jeff Sr actually spoke with me instead of hanging up.
I will not be hiring Petra Plumbing & Heating based on my interaction with Jeff Sr on that phone call. My rating of the customer service involved with this business stands. However, i cannot speak to the quality of their work and have adjusted my review accordingly.

Jeff Senecal Jr came out to my house to give us an estimate on a cabinet/counter install. We liked him right away, very friendly and seemed competent.
He came out at the agreed upon date and began work. This is where it gets sticky, my house is old and about an inch out of level side to side. We already knew this and had discussed it at the consult. Jeff decided the best way to level out the difference was to over-shim the cabinets to a non-standard height without discussing it with the homeowners - one of which was home at the time.
When I returned from work it was pretty obvious that the entire kitchen had been raised up and it does not look good. We called Jeff right away and he tried to blame my BF (who was home at the time) saying he approved the weird height, what my BF agreed to was shimming the cabinets level *as discussed at the consult* Jeff didn't feel the need to mention that he wanted to shim them 2 inches too high. Jeff was supposed to come back at 2pm the following day to finish the install and instead showed up at 10am unannounced, declared he will not be fixing the cabinet height and quit on the spot. He cashed the deposit check we had given him in good faith and has ignored our request to return the money.
I reached out to Petra this morning and spoke to Jeff Sr, he informed me that he had no knowledge of the project, didn't know who I was and hung up on me, TWICE.
I am now stuck with an unfinished, unacceptable kitchen, a company that doesn't stand behind it's work and either a whole lot of my time an effort to fix it myself or I can try to find a new, trustworthy contractor to do the job right.
I'm very disappointed in this entire interaction, especially since we initially liked Jeff Jr so much.
0/10 do not recommend. And as an aside: Jeff Senecal with the "candid review" on here is either Jeff Sr, the owner or Jeff Jr, the one that screwed up my kitchen.

This man was a thief. He came into my house, told me I needed as new water heater I Dont think i did. Replaced my 75 gallon one with a 50 gallon one, didnt remove the old one . Twigged around with my furnace charged me over 800.00 this was over ten years ago. He knew that I was alone with 2 children, and took full advantage of my situation. Didnt come to take out old heater, wouldn't respond to phone calls. A terrible dishonest guy. He was remodeling an old house and u guess I paid for to some of that. A shame hes still in business. Dishonest, lying, con artist

Had Jeff install new pipes and new shower on a new addition. Several weeks after he “finished the job”, we started using the shower & noticed that he switched the hot and cold pipes into the shower. Called to have him fix his mistake and as soon as I told him my name he hung up , twice. Had to fix it myself.

He took a really long time to get to my house . He wasnt very friendly . And actually was a bit on the standoffish side. When he got to my home he said I needed pipe peices told me he was going to town ..2 hours later we heard nothing. I texted him at 830pm and said he wasnt coming till tomorrow. Next day no show no call.
