Rodman Public Library

Rodman library is absolutely wonderful. They have friendly staff that are eager to help you find whatever it is you need. Their programs for the kids are phenomenal as well. We really enjoy the crafts, especially.

Great selection! They have two different sections of the building: One section is from 1963, which is the original part of the library, and then the 1973 addition. The bright elevator you see was installed in the 2007 addition. The older elevator is original to the library, along with the dumbwaiter in the center. The other dumbwaiter, seen with the decoration around it, is a part of the 1972 addition. Trust me, I would have loved to ride the elevator with the key switch. It’s a Plunger, which was a Columbus based brand. Canton Elevator is a third-party manufacturer from the Canton area.

I LOVE THIS PLACE SO MUCH. My mom has always forced me to join the summer reading programs when I was in elementary and of course I hated it (lol), but as ive gone into middle and now high school its just so FUN. I get so excited every summer knowing i get to beg my mom to take me to the library so i can browse the manga section, and check out books i know i cant fully understand JUST BECAUSE ITS SO COOL . I feel so safe in the library, the staff are so nice and cool, they just create such an environment that the community wants to be in. This library is so epic, i cant wait for my next visit ! ! !

This was my first time in that library. I noticed that the place is very clean and organized. I needed copies and faxes done. Fax machine was taking too long so one of the employees took me back to copy machine and walked me thru sending fax to email address. Fax machine is free , that beats Staples!
I would definitely go back if I need anything else.

We do a lot of reading at our house and really enjoy using the Rodman Library to help us find what we are looking for. I am so grateful to Becky; she helps my daughter find new things based on what books she is enjoying, and is great at recommendations.

They give out monthly craft packs for adults, teens, and children. And free seed packs every summer. This place is an essential part of the community. So many useful resources!

I love ❤ our library! They will go out of their way to help you find books or any information that you can't find on your own.

I love this place. Great environment. Quiet and peaceful. And they have tons of community activities to do. With a lot of virtual options right now because of the pandemic. Best place for a child to go.

I was probably one of there most difficult patrons and they handled it with amazing attitudes. The young lady in the computer area helped me make my resume then print it. And I saw nothing but excellent customer service and respectful patrons there.

Great local resource with helpful staff. Especially Byrun! Fun programs and a wealth of local history items on hand. Also highly recommend the summer book sale. 👍🏼

Nice quiet place for my oldest daughter to go study and do her homework. The librarians are a great resource for new reading material.

I like the fact you can copy, fax and they have a good selection of large print. Everyone is friendly and helpful.

Absolutely love here friendly staff and lots to read, watch and listen too. They also have video games that you can rent as well!
