City Seed at the Station

Not just a plant & seed store - this is definitely high on my list of favorite gift shops! Donna and friends are personable, knowledgeable, adorable!

The people here are lovely. The atmosphere is great, the employees are so friendly and knowledgeable, and there's a vast variety of different seeds and plants (and so much more) to choose from. The prices are surprisingly affordable too! Can't wait to plant all of my seeds and flowers!

Such a cute little shop! I went in to buy a gift. I had a great experience, the employee working, Drew, was very helpful at giving me advice to make the best decisions for my needs! Would recommend this shop to anyone who needs to get a gift!!

I highly recommend this amazing little shop! They had an incredible variety of plants and Drew was so knowledgeable and patient with my mother and I. definitely will be back in soon!

I can not say enough good things about this shop. Visited yesterday with my sister for the 1st time and had the BEST time. Dixie was an absolute delight, she checked in with us multiple times while we were perusing and answered all of the questions we had regarding potting and plant care. I never felt as though she was trying to sell us something but rather that she wanted to make sure that we and our new plant babes were going to be happy. Our plants were beautifully repotted and packaged securely for transport. Will definitely be making this a regular stop when I'm in town To visit!

This is my favorite little shop in Anderson. It’s my go to for gifts and when I want a little treat for myself. The atmosphere is so calming and the owner is amazing. She goes above and beyond to help me pick out gifts. The classes are a lot of fun as well. I Love City Seed at the Station! 10/10 would recommend!

Went to City Seeds at the Station for a gift for my 93 yr old mom living in assisted living. The help I received in picking out plants was wonderful. Plus the planter, planting my plants choices and wrapping my gift was so nice. I very much recommend City Seeds at the Station. A fun experience.

I love love LOVE this shop! Donna is absolutely amazing and you walk in feeling like you've known her for years. Her plant selection is one of the best for hard to find plants also. She also offers classes! I really can't say enough great things about it. Oh! And you can enjoy a cup of coffee while you're there.

I highly recommend this adorable shop! They are always busy but they take the time to help you. In fact, I called over there this morning to see if they had a few particular plants available and, even though they were in the process of opening the store, Donna took the time to find what I was wanting. This has been my go-to shop for special plants since the pandemic. Even during the tough times of working during the pandemic, they were very helpful. I’ve become a plantaholic and City Seed has had several of my wishlist plants at very reasonable prices. I always look forward to their Facebook videos of the new plants and gardening items. I always try to shop local and City Seed is the first place that I turn to!

Wonderful place! They were so helpful with baby shower hostess gifts. They even helped entertain my wild toddler so I could shop around for a few minutes, which meant so much! I will definitely be back, probably to attend their classes as well!

This is an adorable little plant shop tucked into a small building right off the main road (Murray Ave & Calhoun) near the Electric City Theater. It's very clean and organized, and you can find an interesting selection of indoor & outdoor plants. It's a great place to find a nice gift for the plant lover in your family. There is a large selection of fresh herbs, succulents, cacti, and small office plants. If you're looking for something pretty to brighten up your work desk or office counter that isn't too bulky, this business can help you customize something to your liking. There were glass jars along one wall filled with vegetable garden seeds for the outdoor gardener, too. You can book "plant arrangement" parties here with kids, Seniors, church groups, etc. It looked like it would be a fun project to try. They also sell birdseed, quality garden tools, gloves, unique pots, and local made gifts. The owner is very nice, too! Easy parking and road access. I plan to do my holiday shopping here to support local businesses.

City Seed is an adorable little place just packed full of unique and wonderful finds. She has a wide assortment of refreshingly different pottery pieces. There are succulents, air plants and many many other things to choose from. Do yourself a favor, stop by and check it out. I left with a smile on my face and I will be going back!

I love this place! It's my new favorite go to for my plant addiction. Their plants are incredible and the ladies who work their are so kind and knowledgeable. You can tell it's their passion!

I always come here when I'm looking for houseplants or veggie plants, but yesterday I found TWO plants I've been unable to find at any other nurseries or big box stores. It may be small, but they always have a huge variety!

I bought a succulent and a small ivy for less that $15. I love City Seed. It has such a calming atmosphere even tho its in the middle of downtown.

I don't often get back to Anderson, but when I do, I put this shop on my agenda. Friendly, knowledgeable service and great prices.
