Rips Country Inn

The atmosphere to me is one of a kind. I went with my family after sundown and the parking lot was pretty full but we easily found a spot. The inside of the restaurant was unique. It has this horse stable theme which I admired throughout dinner. Our waitress was very attentive and not overbearing. She served us in a timely fashion and had a pleasant demeanor. I feel bad bc I cannot remember her name, my apologies. I ordered the Jumbo Shrimp Pasta, which was suggested by our server. Great tasting and pretty filling, I did need a take out box (it still was tasty the next day). My only complaint which is a personal preference is the shrimp tails, besides that, the pasta was good. I will definitely come back to this place when visiting family in the area.

The private room was booked for a surprise birthday party for me. The setup of the room was perfect. I think the food options were limited due to us having a large number of people, but there were plenty of options for everyone. The food was great. A huge shout out to our server. She was excellent!

Wow! The service and good are great here and so many choices of sandwiches! For sure planning to come back and bringing the family. You have to try the fried green tomatoes!

Stopped in here after six flags and got dinner was not bad waitress was super awesome and helped me pick my sides and I got the fried chicken and the boys got burgers 🍔🍔 good experience and will be back

Great experience!!! We had a wonderful waitress. Most of our table got the fried fish and they loved it. Two others got burgers, they said they were very good and cooked to perfection. I got the Monte Cristo and y'all ...... It was so good!!!!! The sweet sauce that was with it made this even yummier!!!! We will for sure be back!!!!! Keep up the fabulous work.

Classy comfort food. Felt like somewhere between a country club and Irish pub. Had the fried pickles. Slight complaint that they arrive all clumped together, so we had to cut them apart. Fresh breaded with yummy breading that tasted like fried fish batter. My roasted beet salad was one of the best salads I've ever eaten. It had apples, and I had the cheese held because I don't eat cheese, but I could imagine how it would have made it even more delicious for those who like cheese. We brought a slice of carrot cake home with us. It did not disappoint, even with a container of whipped cream and another of fresh carrot shreds to top it off. My husband enjoyed the reuben. My son, a burger.

Traditional meals available on this day to read large font menu with clearly defined sections for breakfast, lunch, etc. Staff were professional and personable providing the types of custom service everyone deserves. Plenty of parking, though the traffic leaving the lot can be heavy. Lunch crowd wasn't too heavy, though reservations might be best

The liver and onion was so tender, it melted in your mouth. The cream of crab soup had so much crab meat in it, it was ridiculous. The ambiance was similar to a Cracker Barrel setting.

Place was decent and staff was very friendly and attentive. Nothing to complain on the food from but the curry chicken tasted delicious. So did the fired fish, crab cake, steak and fried chicken. Deserts not so much. Try it.

Stopped at Rips Country Inn for lunch and was very pleased. I ordered the lunch special, which was a blackened steak sandwich, and it was excellent. The steak was cooked perfectly! Highly recommended stopping by if you are in the area.

Clean and friendly atmosphere. Prices are about average for the area(a bit pricey on popular items). The store is well stocked and organized with lots of employees to assist you on a Saturday night. Stopped in for specific items but will go back to check out others.

Loved the chicken salad. The crab soup is SO thick and delicious, almost had to cut it with a fork. The house chips are so good! Fries were just okay. Chopped steak and beer cheese was good.

Food was great and staff too. Can't miss with a trip to Rips. Only complaints are they don't have nutritional menus so it's hard to record macros if you care about that. Also the place is very quiet when not busy so no private conversations, everyone can hear everything.

I can only comment on the spirits part of the store. But they had a great large selection of wine. Top shelf liquor and a selection of whiskeys that are new to me. They had my favorite brandy by Stella Rosa. I would go back again when I'm in the area. Friendly staff. I did get carded. LOL.

This is a very cool place. Just happened to stop here on a trip home. The interior decorating is interesting. The staff was nice. The food was good. If we happen by here again, it will be a stop.

Food was great. Servers were friendly and quick to check on you and refill drinks. Very nice restaurant. Loved their signature drinks.

Had the Sunday brunch buffet. It was wonderful. A nice selection and the chocolate cupcakes were amazing. Topped with a dark chocolate ganache that will make your eyes roll back into your head while you savor every bite. Sooooo good! The staff was friendly and parking was a breeze.

Rips is a staple liquor store in Bowie,MD. It functions in multiple ways. I did a beverage tasting there and the customers are friendly and happy. After my gig, i ordered an Italian veggie sandwich with cole slaw, i want another one right now. It was delicious. Their staff is friendly and likeable. They normally have tastings Friday and Saturday inside the store in different sections. I will return.

We love Rips. The food is always reliably good. They have made some great updates to the menu while maintaining some of the long time favorites. We have been regulars since moving to Bowie almost 16 years ago. The bar makes delicious cocktails and we have always had friendly service.

This place is amazing! My company used the semi- private dining room for 3 days to accommodate up to 20 people at a time for our presentations. We held a lunch, an early dinner and late dinner on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. I must say, the manager (Sonny), servers (Chrissi, Louise, Trinity, Molly) and literally all the staff were just awesome. Food was served hot, quick and delicious every single time! They are so friendly and accommodating- will definitely come back. Just incredible service. You will not be disappointed.
